If they didn’t want to produce Paani anymore that has something to do with Adi chopra and the director. A good project will always find other producers but seems it was bad so no one picked up. Wonder how he signed Dhoni if everyone was against him.

Not promised but seemed more like he wanted befikre but wasn’t offered or why did he himself said he wasn’t offered the movie.

No one is forced to sign a contract he was already signed by UTV there is/was no need to sign YRF.

But what a privilege for an outsider like Sushant got contracts by UTV and YRF while other outsiders are auditioning for movies and don’t get contracts offered so easily. But we ignore that part too.

Lol what ?? He auditioned too and then got these films. Fought even a bigger prejudice of a TV actor and then cracked the auditions. This is privilege ?

And that time UTV had UTV spotboy which was promoting young talent...YRF and also YFilms under YRF has had handed out contracts to quite a few new actors at that time.

And throwing the 'everyone was against him' taunt wont change what he faced and how it turned ugly post Dhoni's success.

He himself signed the contract. He should have done 3 movies and moved out.

You forget most production houses do not create scene with a successful actors. They want to stay in their good looks too. So scene was created with Ranveer.

Lets not hate on Ranveer - he is an accomplished actor too, not a waste of space like some plastic dolls like Sid Mal and ARK or even Varun for that matter.

What however YRF did with SSR was terrible. They did play their part in ruining his career!

I think this was discussed before here in the past week. Even though RS, Ayush, Sush had yrf contracts , the other two were allowed to work in other films backed by other production houses but Sushant wasn't. This is exactly what irked Sush. He lost out other film offers coz he was held back for Paani. He also later said its understandable that investing so much on a newcomer wasn't deemed viable but he just dint understand why he was stopped from doing other films .

Privilege to get those contracts means you get movie offers of the production houses as soon you signed it. It’s an upper hand to others who don’t get such contracts. That’s why people make their own „outsider“ fav as a bigger struggler cause they are not backed by any production.

Whatever he faced or whatever happened is not clear. Who is only fault of course he faced some bts schemes he is definitely not the only one as people make it seem. There are a lot of those who are At the top Now and faced similar situations.

They all take that long road and IF you are at the top cause the audience push you then these people can’t do anything than only offer you projects. Kjo is the biggest example imo it’s a reason why he offered Sushant drive.

I agree he is a good actor and definitely much better than most "young" (if we can still call men over 30 young😆) actors that we have, but what annoys me is his is whining about his struggles.

and he got the privilege to be signd for two big productions houses through his hard work and talent, and not because of his fathers money or his friendship with the talent manager of yrf.

I guess you're a Ranveer fan and that's why you see things a little differently. I don't blame Ranveer for taking opportunities that he saw because he was a newcomer himself. The blame should be entirely on people like Adi Chopra etc. who favour one over another.

Being a fan or not my problem in general is when simple stuff people especially on social media can do a research which is an already big problem here where we just read and take it as a simple fact.

But movies and productios has a PR for signing movies and their sources these are announcement or even official announcements.

just like you question this. How can Sushant at that Time turn down an offer of SLB for UTV which he was signed this can only be YRF. But is there any official announcement that he was offered? There is not even a source that said he was offered Ram Leela. We only take an article in which it is mentioned in the Same breath with Befikre. Some PR article back then.

If one looks closely it doesn’t make any sense. He was signed by UTV there is an official article about that how he is under contract by UTV and that he had to ask them if he can sign Shuddi desi romance. A Movie and announcement which happened at the end of 2012.

So blaming YRF and saying he allowed ranveer to sign it doesn’t make any sense when ranveer was approached officially by an article in January 2012 for Ram Leela so somewhere it’s similar how Sushant was signed by UTV for Kai Po Che if he started shooting for that movie in April 2012. around the same time when bhansali wanted to start for Ram Leela if Kareena didn’t left.

Yea YRF is maybe not fair in general but they at least signed and offered movies to those who have not a big name and give them at least a chance whic still should be applauded for a Big production house like them. Haveing a problem afterwards because of whatever reason that’s a simple problem with those who sign it or take it to their heart and change their whole body/face.

It’s so sad sushant is gone. I was hoping a Real outsider would become successful, he was so talented. So angry at the fact that they let rs do outside movies but not sushant. Poor Ranveer struggle when he knows all the star kids since he was a kid and literally sonam’s cousin. Poor rs got his dad money to launch him in yrf. He pretends to be an outsider. Well all the male star kids can celebrate because the real outsider who was a threat is gone now so need to snatch films or create blinds anymore.

Lol yes..but that's got nothing to do with SSR right. I mean Ranveer has worked super hard too to deliver those performances..sure he is crazy or puts up an act about being crazy or constantly harps about his method acting.. (off topic but I think Vicky K dislikes Ranveer and loves RK because he has taken underhanded digs at Ranveer on the method acting thing)..but that's a totally different issue
