The list is long, but do list some of the names who you think have suffered because of nepotism/favouritism.

--Ileana D' Cruz ( After a brilliant debut in Barfi and getting all the awards, she got B-grade movies or was reduced to guest appearances in multi-starrers)

--Sanya Malhotra ( After the super-success of Badhai Ho, she only got Photograph in which she was very good, but didn't do anything for her career)

-- Mrunal Thakur( again a great debut in Love, Sonia but hardly got good projects)

--Vikrant Massey ( a prodigious talent but playing sidekick in most movies)

--Tahir Raj Bhasin ( is the complete package but again same fate as Massey)

Can you think of more names?

Not everyone manages to capitalize on their good debut but Mrunal still got a part opposite HR and has movies lined up so who knows.. but I would have wanted Vikrant and Jimmy S to do better..

Didn't watch chapaak but I love that guy.. since BB days..

But I don't think he was ever interested in what you can mainstream BW.. his focus was always on character roles judging from the choice of his movies which honestly is a smart move.. as much as I love him, I honestly don't think he would have fared well as a mainstream actor.. he excels in character roles

Don't know because of nepotism but some underrated ones :

I agree with your list, though they still have time, they are young, Vikrant does deserve)

Laila Majnu leads (Avinash Tiwary and Tripti Damri)

Rajeev Khandelwal

Radhika Apte

Randeep Hooda

Richa Chaddha

Somewhere Irrfan Khan (mainly because it took a lot of time to reach at where he was) and Sushant Singh Rajput (how can I forget him ) ❤️

Manoj Bajpayee ( I guess, many people think he doesn't suit as lead actor but he did some successful movies as lead but he always deserved more)

I agree with Jimmy Shergil

I even liked Mukkabaaz leads Vineet Kumar and Zoya Hussain (good actors)

There might be many, but these are the ones whom I able to recall presently.

Every talented person failing to make a mark cannot be attributed to nepotism.. sometimes things just don't work out

Agree on Ileana. She really got raw deal in Bollywood. She has amazing screen presence and good acting performance. She hold her own in Barfi against Priyanka who is terrific on her own in the movie. That itself should speak volumes of her talent.

I never looked at Barfi as a Ranbir or Priyanka movie. It was as much of Illeana as it was of Ranbir and Priyanka. It was a well made movie where one didn't overpower other.
