I agree with your list, though they still have time, they are young, Vikrant does deserve)

Laila Majnu leads (Avinash Tiwary and Tripti Damri)

Rajeev Khandelwal

Radhika Apte

Randeep Hooda

Richa Chaddha

Somewhere Irrfan Khan (mainly because it took a lot of time to reach at where he was) and Sushant Singh Rajput (how can I forget him ) ❤️

Manoj Bajpayee ( I guess, many people think he doesn't suit as lead actor but he did some successful movies as lead but he always deserved more)

I agree with Jimmy Shergil

I even liked Mukkabaaz leads Vineet Kumar and Zoya Hussain (good actors)

There might be many, but these are the ones whom I able to recall presently.

Sorry to interject but I am not sure if SSR belongs in this list...He made it despite all the nonsense and is amongst the A listers of the mainstream Bollywood- a feat only a few Nepotistic kids managed to achieve, let alone a rank outsider like him.......All his movies are mainstream and commercial entertainers along with being content driven....Yes he has been subjected to the politics but they are a reality of every actor who is in the contest for the top spot...He would’ve been strong and thick skinned and continued his fight against all the odds had he not become a victim of Depression along the way...All his life he had been a high achiever and I doubt it came without him fighting against the odds...He is a winner and I would like to send him away as a successful person because he deserves nothing less than that!

Amongst the others, from the ones that I know of, Rajeev K and Jimmy S definitely deserved more than what they have got...They are such good actors and handsome and seemed to have everything that is needed for a successful BW career...:(

Agree.

People love to blame their failure on others.

Jimmy Shergill is good.

But Yami's main problem is fair and lovely endorsement. This is one brand which has started fairness craze in India and made life hell for not so fair people. So most the people associate Yami with childhood taunts.

Oh Cricket fan, I included his name not because of nepotism thing, see my caption above, he was underrated in my opinion, definition of underrated can be different for different people, just like Irrfan Khan wasn't underrated for many as he won many awards, but when I compare him with his contemporaries like Salman, same with Sushant.

And to be ,nepotism is not always the case any actor fails, that's why, I didn't mention, that it's because of nepotism, though the TM's question was different. I included Sushant's name later when I wrote Irrfan's name (Irrfan mostly affected with Stardom of some actors more than nepotism, that's what I meant)

Secondly, I even wanted to include RKR's name too here but didn't because he is still getting some good movies unlike Sushant who is no more. That's it. Hope you got my point.

I am. Not going to take a flag of nepotism and say that every underrated actor suffered because of Nepotism because Abhay Deol despite being good and nepo kid couldn't make it there.

Thank you for explaining...And as usual, I didn’t read the whole thing...I didn’t see that you included Irrfan, otherwise another essay would’ve awaited you!☺️
