I have never spoken about the PK thing. But I think it was a case of poor choice of words. I dont remember the exact words she said. But it was something like "'Sushant is a small chapter in my life"... I think she was speaking about their characters in the film. Anyone who has watched the film would know that Sushant's character was there for a small story at the beginning of the film.

Yeah, Anushka might have been rude and condescending towards him at other times. Who knows...

Hey what have we learned last 2 days ? Even if someone isn’t intending to be insensitive they can come off as it. We should all choose our words

your post really did something to me, but I’m still not able to cry. I still can’t accept he’s no more 😭

Unfortunately it’s always the case. People come out with a sudden onset of love once a celebrity passes away. In fact, most celebrities become more famous after they’re dead. It’s in line with the concept ‘you don’t know what you have until you lose it’. How sad is it that people have to die in order to get the acceptance and love they always craved for when alive. It’s something that shouldn’t have to be begged for, but given freely as virtue of being a human being.

Very true. Infact, Sushant's twitter background is a painting of Van Gogh "The Starry Night". Gogh never got any success when he was alive, and only ever sold one painting. He was called weird and crazy when he was alive and people didn't like his paintings. After he committed suicide, he is called as one of the best painters of all time and his paintings are seen as masterpieces. Sort of eerie actually that Sushant's background is that painting but it makes sense because many depressed people relate with Van Gogh because Gogh was depressed and put in mental hospitals and had suicide ideation when he was alive.

God, that’s even more despairing to imagine.

I was typing that exact same quote. WORD to everything you said.

The love he yearned for.. how sad is it that he received it after his death. The fame he wanted, even if everyone is using it for their agenda, fact is Bollywood has been shaken with his death.

It's so uncanny but I just saw this interview of Sushant's where this interviewer asked him the genre of his life story or biopic, and he said 'horror' because he'll haunt everyone as a ghost even after his death.

For FingerFetish's original post.

Exactly my feelings. For some horrid reason I keep imagining his last moments and every time I see his picture splashed on the tv I just want to jump inside and give him a tight hug, tell him that it's okay, hang on for just a little more time, things will be okay. It kills me to imagine him utterly alone and feeling hopeless in that huge flat, surrounded by things he loved that no more excited him. God. He deserved the world.

I have just read about Van Gogh a couple of months back. 💔

It appeases my soul knowing that some celebrities are losing sleep either from the guilt of having once shunned him, or out of fear that their behaviour would also be disclosed to the public.

Horror and straight out tragedy would be the genre. I wonder if he did that interview during the early days of his career or at a period when he was being treated like crap. He didn’t lie though. BW has become a place of horror now.

I don't mean to get all philosophical but it's sad to me that the painting was his background and maybe it was saying something that nobody noticed. It is a very depressing (although hauntingly beautiful) painting because Gogh painted it when he was in mental hospital for his depression and suicidal thoughts. He painted it when he was getting better but then he started getting bad again, that's why that painting was made because the bright vs dark colors in it were a contrast between his bettering mental health and then going back into depression. :(

I know nobody could've known that Sushant would commit suicide simply because of his background but now all this looks like a sign and it is sad that he was in such suffering.
