Swara Bhasker feels blaming Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt for Sushant Singh Rajput's demise is 'height of idiocy'

Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on June 14, 2020. Ever since, the entertainment industry has been shocked and continues to send out condolences and prayers to the actor and his family. His last rites took place in Mumbai earlier in the day yesterday (June 15, 2020). In attendance were the likes of Shraddha Kapoor, Rhea Chakraborty, Vivek Oberoi, and a few others along with his family.

Sushant was reportedly suffering from depression and hence, his suicide has also kickstarted a conversation about mental health. However, another debate that has been going on is how it is a feeling of unacceptance that led him into taking this drastic step. In fact, many have also blamed nepotism for pushing a person to the edge, which in turn, has also lead to a lot of controversies, and a Twitter debate.

And now, Swara Bhasker has taken to social media to express her opinion about those blaming and abusing Bollywood nepotism. She wrote, "Parts of India Twitter blaming #KaranJohar and #AliaBhatt for the tragic suicide of Sushant - for some silly game played on a frivolous and pointless chat show (that All those people who are now abusing Bollywood nepotism lapped up) is both the height of idiocy and hypocrisy! 1/n. Sushant didn’t leave a note. We don’t know what he went thru. We don’t know the cause. taking out ur frustration using the pain of a troubled person. He didn’t leave a note! Get it? He didn’t want to talk about it. He’s gone. Let him have his peace & his family privacy. 2/n."

Has Swara forgotten her statement about Rohit Vemula's suicide where she blamed the entire Modi Government. Or her speech to instigate riots in Delhi.

Swara is selective about outrage which benefits her.

Her fangirls or boys talk about her standing up and mock other actresses for not speaking up. Where is she now ? Her outrage works for specific things which benefits her. Her fans got nerve to question others and now she can't stand up, suddenly she needs to survive? What logic. Then accept that she is spineless.

Because it effects her career. So by their logic she is indeed spineless and someone who clearly has an agenda.

She is busy licking mafia's feet. Funny how they used to call her amazing lmao and question others. And now have excuses for her.

Swara has to counter Kangana lol. They couldn't possibly be on the same side of argument ever. Imagine what that would do to Swara's only claim to fame.

You would think the so called activist who blabbers all day about what absolute power can do to people most vulnerable would understand at the very least how the system clearly targetted Sushant. But who cares about that when you gotta place yourself as a 'vs Kangana'. It's just ironical. They are two sides of the same coin.

Indian Twitter is also at fault here. It cant compartmentalize. Rather than straight up calling Karan and Co 'murderers', the discussion should be how gatekeepers use power to keep you out regardless of your endless talent and how that can contribute to someone's mental health and create a toxic environment. SM needs to stop being so black and white and extreme in its take. It defeats the purpose of the discussion.

Are you kidding me, Rohith Vemula left a suicide note blaming the system, which Modi is running. He took his own life because he was suspended based on a complaint by ABVP, an RSS organization, which again Modi serves/heads.
