Wow. You know all this so surely how? Share your sources with everyone. 'Nepotism was not the real issue' Nobody can verify this validity of your claim. You know as much as everybody else does here.. Unless youre some insider with additional info your assumptions are complete BS.

Again, nobody knows why he was in depression. Only the police or close ones can reveal that. But structural mocking, bullying and isolatation did happen. Blind items and character assassination without an ounce of accountability. Hence the calling out.

Yeah, Kangana and a bunch of others are using his name for their own agenda. But that's just the by-product of the incident. It doesn't erase the other facts.

Mental Illness doesn't come out of nowhere, sociological factors are responsible. Not blaming nepotism completely but that may have added to that. Don't blame everything on Sushant. It's very easy to blame the individual and get away with all this.

Exactly just saw his 32 questions interview's where he said his biggest fear is the fear of impermanence..

He was aware the day he stopped giving hits there are 83828829991people to write him off he could have simply said I won't be offered movies if they flopped. But "they will throw me out of Bollywood" gives it a different meaning altogether.

I am not saying Karan johar killed him.but there are small factors that triggered him to take this drastic step.

His smiles vanished when he was asked his take on nepotism. We cannot just pin the blame on mental illness and absolve people of their shitty behaviour.

I was always against nepotism but to be honest I never really bothered about it that much as it wasn’t affecting me personally in anyway. But after this incident with SSR I am finding myself increasingly upset and very angry with the industry for functioning the way it does. That’s me. On social media , everywhere the anger against film industry insiders is palpable and dissent seems to be growing. People are speaking out like never before. Not just aam junta or SSR fans, I can see so many well known people coming out of woodworks for condoning how this industry works and all that is wrong with it although they’re not directly taking any names.

I hope something positive comes out of all this and poor Sushant’s death will not go in vain.

Very well said! 👏

U do realise boycotting a film with Starkids also means boycotting the efforts of thousands of wage workers, extras, technical crew and staff who don’t get paid well in the first place?

They don’t function in a vacuum ...the so called star kid movie might have a struggling , hardworking talented choreographer U just “boycotted” in ur rage

But I’m sure it’s fair to ruin their mental health and well-being ...as long as the star kids suffer along with them

Perfect solution 👌
the lack of perspective and foresight here is astounding
U don’t fix a problem by creating 5 others.

Nobody knows why Sushant suffered from depression. But that doesn't erase the problematic behavior of the gatekeepers of Bollywood and they deserved to be called out so that they dare not do this with someone else later.

Heck, CPTSD (complex post traumatic stress disorder) is based PURELY on you going through multiple traumatic events. Mental illness can and DOES get formed by you going through painful things.

A movie is not just made by a producer, director and star, a movie is made with a team of hundreds of crew members and daily wage workers trying to feed their families. So if you boycott these films you are also putting those hundreds of workers livelihoods at risk.

Exactly...see this is what will really hurt them...this is what people should do instead of blaming all and sundry...dislike their songs, trailers etc on video...unfollow them on social media....best would be not watch their movies in the theater...do not waste ur money on them....the audience has the power to drive away the actors they don't like....pics mat dekho.....apne aap flop ho jaayenge saare.....watch the movies of outsiders only....support them...

For me BW is my biggest source of entertainment and that is its only importance ....so people like me who don't have any major source of entertainment will keep watching their movies....i will follow them on twitter etc,,,,,,and if I like an actor I will support and watch their movies...I will take Aamir , Hritik and Ranbir over any outsider anyday...because they are damn talented......more talented than any of the outsiders except SRK....if Suhana or Aryan make a debut I will be watching it FDFS. I can't give up on BW ...it has entertained me for years. ....Its not that I am supporting them.....I am paying them to entertain me...that is what its for me,
