Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide on Sunday (June 14) morning. He was 34 and was suffering from depression for over 6 months. The actor was also undergoing psychiatric treatment for the same.

Sushant's sister told the police that there were no financial problems in the actor's life. However, Sushant Singh Rajput was not feeling well for the last one week. His sister also visited the actor at his Bandra residence in Mumbai.

She further added that while she was aware about the actor's depression diagnosis, she never expected him to take such a drastic step. She also said that Sushant Singh Rajput was a very down to earth person and was always himself. He was talking normally as well.

Story also says that the police has his phone and SSR's manager unlocked it for them to do their investigation.

So finally I got my answer. Family knew. I know they didn't expected him to do suicide. But by now it seems severe depression. He should have been with family. Atleast when lockdown was lifted.

Idk what was their equation but he simply should have been with his loved ones at this point of his life.

He had been depressed for some time. His family would visit him during the low phases and leave once he was better.

But I wish his dad took him with him to his hometown during the lockdown or after it was lifted as anyway theres no work at present. In most of the cases, a change of atmosphere and environment can change everything. New people, fresh air, only loved ones, ...

www.huffingtonpost.in/amp/entry/sushant-singh-rajput-interview_in_5d8ef27ae4b0ac3cdda8ffbb

From this article, looks like even the interviewer was bit bemused. There were some undertones hinting something was off & sad.

Also shows that he was a very good human being...

They might have known but having first hand experience dealing with someone close to me who was mentally disturbed and has subsequently recovered, you can do everything but if they don't let you in your hands are tied. You can break down the door of the house even, and run after them, track their whereabouts but if they do not want to be found, they will run somehow. Unfortunately some people continue to suffer or more often than not a wake up call comes their way to shake them and seek help.

Oh Man....I wish that they had taken Sushant with them atleast during the lock down period....but then Sush was 34 years old...and no one can help a grown person if they won't let people help them.....I can imagine the family of Sushant wanting him to stay with them.....this is so sad because now they will also live with the guilt all their lives...it is such a lose lose situation.....and of course no one would have imagined him taking such a step....otherwise the family would have never left him alone in the first place...

I hope people will take notes....if u think a family member is depressed....think of the worst outcome and take it from there...because u never know....

All this makes me so sad....the only consolation is that his mother is not alive to see all this....there is nothing worse for a parent than to see the child go before them...I can't even imagine how his Dad must be feeling. I hope God gives him strength to bear this pain.

many often has this misconception that if loved ones is surrounded or you talk to people you can defeat the disease that is wrong actually even if they do meet people and surrounded by them its not going to work ultimately they will take the dangerous step either to harm themselves or harm others secondly people will not able to do anything if the person suffering with that illness allow them into their space its not as easy like everyone says talk it out or vent it out

the fact is the person who is suffering from the illness has no control over his emotions nor his brains he doesn't know what is happening to him it just happens and he follows the instruction that these depression is giving him and these emotions makes the person restless and hyper at the same emotions not being control by himself there are mood swings coming with it at one moment the person will be so happy that he gives this impression in his wide smile that everything is normal than the next moment he is triggered with sadness being low and defeated its like the mind the conscious and sub-conscious mind playing games in your head and makes you choose one path conscious mind that fills with happiness wants the person to follow that and sub-conscious mind makes the person choose defeat and makes the person look like a looser and all these mind games he has no ways to reveal it to people surrounded him becos both minds are being controlled while emotions overpower it,its not easy like netizens and fake BW/ITV actors maha gyanis are saying in their videos...talk it out you will feel ok but when emotions n minds are not control by you but some other force after you talk nothing is going to happen, this disease don't let the person suffering sleep and he walks to and fro totally blank of himself why he iswalking from one end to another more insomia

what should be done is the person who is suffering needs to seek help from psychiatrist counsellor or specialist who handles mental health disease they will first understand their problems, read their minds behaviour and characteristic and in severe case they might do a hypotism to read the sub-conscious mind what is troubling the person our sub-conscious mind never lies it speaks your emotion and soul otherwise they will do therapies that at least let the person control his mind and emotions and then prescribe medications with the amount of dosage becos the medicines can make the person hallucinate and talking to himself so the right amount dosage needs to be given to stable the mind and emotions and that medication should not be stop even if the person skip for once it will lead to dangerous consequences once medicine are prescribe and given there should be a loved one beside the person and that someone needs to give the assurance to the person suffering the disease that everyone loves him and he needs to embrace the colours and brightness of life if you find life is defeating you than start from scratch needs to give the person confidence that he will succeed,he is loved and everyone wants him thats how this disease can be defeated

medicines needs to be taken reguarly and someone who really loves the person needs to be with him to give him the new hope and meaning in life
