Thank you for sharing such beautiful posts.
Personally, I thought Sushant was suffering from bipolar disorder.
I think he was suffering for years with it but was diagnosed late or even misdiagnosed as depression.
He showed most of the signs: insomnia, depression followed by euphoric episodes followed by depression followed by irritability.
During his euphoric/ dysphoria phase, he was at his best with creativity and acting and doing his projects on astro physics.
And so he may have felt that he did not need medication.
Most bipolar patients I have come across come to the doctor only when they need help with the depressive phase.
But their denial to start taking medication could be their own coping mechanism of the illness, or cautious of the stigma of being labelled mentally ill or fear of what the medication might actually do to them.
While it is true that Bollywood biggies did not reach out to him, it is also true that he shut himself off completely from other people.
He became increasingly reclusive. He changed his phone number 50 times.
He had big ideas of doing many big things....but couldn't finish any of them.
He lost his mother at 16, when he was still a child-man. He was deeply connected to her and her death was a huge shock.
I think his illness might have started from there.
He tried to cope with the death by doing different things and keep himself busy.
Like he was constantly in search of something....or trying to run after something to fill that void in himself.
He himself said once that he loved acting because it allowed him "to escape from himself."
So he went to engineering college and scored really well....only to drop out months before his graduation.
Then he moved to the television industry and did really well there....only to drop out of projects and join the movies.
Then he joined the movies and did really well there....but he could not stay committed with the contract he was signed to.
His mind was wavering. constantly.
His personal relationships were the same. He seemed committed enough only to back away just before marriage.
During the lockdown, with no work and with a relationship fight....he plummeted further.
In the last 10 days before his death, his gym trainer's mother passed away....it brought back memories of his dead mother and that was his final poem on his instagram account. A few days later, he stopped his medication. He fought with his girlfriend and convinced her to move away for a while...so he was alone. A few days later, his ex-manager committed suicide. A few days later, he cleared his payments for his servant staff. And a few days later in the morning, he committed suicide.
It seemed the natural step to take. He also left without wanting to drown his girlfriend into it and without creating debt for anyone to pay off.
In retrospect....yes, the blind items written about him may have some truth in them....temper tantrums/ irritability may have happened when his manic episodes were pushed further.
But most may have been false and that might have been the reason for him keeping his guard up all the time.
He kept walls around his fragile mind.
He said he didn't care what people said, but he did. He said the belittled recognition did not hurt, but it did.
The blind items may have created paranoia in his mind too that people were constantly watching him/ targetting him/ plotting against him.
This would have further fuelled his bipolar anxiety/ depression phase.
Suicide can happen in the manic phase of bipolar....it is a type of aggression towards oneself.
It is further triggered by depression when one loses all hope in life itself.
Overall, the outside world of our mind is infinite and the inside world of our mind is infinite.
Finding the peace between these two worlds is what keeps one sane.
I hope and pray that Sushant has finally found his peace.

His phone number changing habit is old , he was always an introvert and he din't break any contract .
Ty for sharing - our of all the points written in that list- I too wondered about two things.
1) where was is helper / worker who supposed to have been there 24/7
2) the pet dog was very close to him. How come the pet didn’t notice anything ? Pets sense lot more than humans do.
I couldn’t find the answer.

hi I have seen your detail analysis before also.
I do not have medical knowledge.
ty for sharing your thoughts.
I appreciate that you care for fans and the person who is no more.
—
the medication when ppl r taking it - how it affects and if stopped or been irregular how it can be deadly I hv seen few ppl and heard a lot.
Other than that I don’t have knowledge about it.
-
l would like to mention while the analysis of how and what happened or what may have triggered may be correct, he neither broke any contract nor is it an unusual habit to change phone numbers for someone who has been attacked continuously.
Dropping out of college - he said at the beginning he wanted to do movies which his father won’t allow and he was not interested in Engineering.
So he went to get trained in order to become an actor without letting family know. This was his earlier interview years ago.
In creative field - if the opportunity comes and if the producer agrees, someone is allowed to leave and take up the new project.
Ekta Kapoor his TV producer agreed to release him to go for his movie projects. So he did.
After the Paani movie contract signed the producer did not allow him to do anything else and he had to reject projects that come his way.
I have never heard so far anyone complaining that he quits or been indisciplined at work.
of course he was enjoying while he was in TV industry On and Off screen. He simply absorbed in anyone and everyone around him and became easily part of their life.
He was simply lively and filled with energy that is very infectious to whomever is around him.
——
In movies - his co stars usually talk about his intellectual side rather than the fun moments.
He was fun to be around - if this characteristic disappeared after getting into movies - we can only ask him why.
He clearly was badly treated continuously for years by movie ppl.
He continued to smile because he wanted ppl to be happy when they meet him or see him.
Very few ppl are like that who want to see others happy.
This is the main reason why his fans are terribly upset - as well because he was driven to this state he was in.
—-
I’m only sincerely curious -
if dropping out and try new things in the hope of finding some unknown “happiness” - that he lost since his mother’s passing - why wait all these years. That void is there since very long time.

So True, most of the time only those actors take away the credit for some movie who are widely published by media. The same happened with him, being star kid Sara was praised for that movie
tfs 🤗 fab
Yeah, his almost all the interviews or videos of MSD movie with MSD were fab, I just love both of them.
Hi Aasus,
Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
Those were just my thoughts that I shared.
On average, it takes 10 years for a person to have bipolar and get treated correctly.
Research across the world supports this.
It presents in subtle ways in everyday life...even the person may not understand those contrasting feelings.
Sushant did not break any contract...but I don't think he was happy to be tied down either. He was meant to do Bekfire with YashRaj films and Ram Leela with Sanjay and lost both to Ranveer Singh.
I do not know much about his pet dog. I thought it was not living with him at the time of the incident.
He bottled up his feelings. So I do not know how much we could have seen from the outside.
But to me, it was a culmination of events over the years that led to this.
He tried his best not to give in and fought hard.
He stopped his medication and that was detrimental.

yes i heard of those movies - i certainly dunno detail but these were the ones referred to as projects being taken away - after consistent creation of bad image of him - many things were posted / created by various ppl in industry.
while the Paani movie was on - projects were lost cz the producer won’t allow and it’s v longtime too.
This was terrible - i tried not get angry but the sight of shekar kapoor disgust me. ah well!
