You know why it makes me feel bad those who got life, give it easily by ending their lives and die, those who wanna live just die,

It has taken me a few days to process this and I still havent ! i was obsessed with the Manav of Pavitra Rishta , so much that I didnt skip an episode up until Sushant left the show. So upset I was that I left the show too and soon did the obsession with SSR. I would follow his movies a bit here and there but nothing like before. The past few days have brought back all those memories and I am so sad. Sad that I didnt continue being a fan, sad that I didnt follow his filmology closely and didnt appreciate him more. I pray his sole rest in peace.

His death has definitely affected me in ways I didnt think it would. Nepotism will always exist in this world. How many times do we see doctors wanting their kids to be doctors , lawyers wanting their kids to be lawyers , all the legacy admissions here in the US are a testament to it but it just feels weird with Bollywood.

Maybe cause it seems so obvious how talentless some of them are and at the end of the day you wonder what makes them successful. Maybe cause they shove themselves so much on your face with their frequent social media interactions, you know they are all a bunch of phonies who just want your attention to satisfy their ego.

The biggest realization has been how to never mock an outsider (even in a private setting). To never mock Ayushman Khurana and complain that Im tired of his low budget movies with hidden messaging, to never mock Rajkumar Rao cause he doesnt have the face for it, to never mock Randeep Hooda cause I can never understand why he does side roles , to never mock Siddharth Malhotra cause I think he cant act or to never mock Kartik Aaryan cause he wants to be a somebody no matter what and how he wants to get there. Siddhanth Chaturvedi s views on struggle have a whole new meaning for me.

Maybe we expect more from them cause we think if Shahrukh Khan can do it all these can. and we consider them to be failures if they havent attained that stature. SRK happens once in a lifetime. Maybe we expect less from industry kids cause we are subconsciously aware that everything has been set in a platter. Maybe its us as an audience who need to change if we truly want to appreciate outsiders.

SSR s death has also been the final nail in the coffin for me to stay away from social media. I wish I could steer my kids away from it when they old enough. There cannot be a more fake world. He was smart enough to know that.

I shared my thoughts hoping it would ease the weirdness I feel but it hasnt. I am just sad and everyone is freaking Bollywood needs to just pause for a moment to reflect !
