True Aamna looks beautiful.. I came across her insta profile some months before her entry as komolika.. and I was awestruck at how beautiful she looked..specially in those minimal makeup pics... Rajeev I have been following a lot ..here and there.. but Aamna never saw her after Sujal was replaced.

Unpopular opinion I saw a glimpse of her as komolika.. she impressed me .. I mean not to a great level.. but a bit better than hina.. Komolika anyway is synonymous to Urvashi Dholakia... I was just surprised by Aamna coz I was never a fan of her acting during KTH. For me it was completely Rajeev's show.. made and run by him.. and the two of them looked beautiful together.. found Surveen a better actor than her.. But when I saw her doing komolika.. I was surprised.

Sujal love for Kashish was so deep and intense, He love only her, and he never looked back at that even when she was someone else wife he was committed to only Kashish. Piyush can't hold a candle next to Sujal love and intensity.

I can't believe Ekta used to have ML like Sujal even her past shows had more organic and natural Jodi sequences unlike nowadays all we see in her shows are flying sindoor, fake fall sequences etc...

Rajeev made Sujal such a beautiful poetic antihero that you couldn’t help fall for! He was so faithful to his love for her.., just melts your fan girl heart.

KTH was one of those shows that till Rajeev was there was a very organic show in that every character had their purpose, their arc and when you put such varied personalities together, you do get a story that’s led by these characters. He it Rishi, or Sujal or Vasu, you felt like you knew these characters.

Today’s characters are so tepid, and bland.., I can’t even be bothered. Romance toh dur dur ki Baat haï. All I see is toxicity and stupidity paackaged in teeny bopper romance.

I actually liked his pairing with Surveen in Haq Se, and was all excited in the initial episodes. But they had to ruin it with Meher being raped and turning Rizvi into judgmental and chauvinistic. I am glad Rajeev is doing S2 because as much as i love him, I hated what they turned Rizvi into. Lost all love for the character and the pairing.

Rajeev really needs to do a good love story. He will easily beat all the MLs of today in the intensity department, that too without all the manhandling & loud dialogues.😆

Wasn’t it inspired from little women, but I am not surprised they ruined the show. Indian tv shows, or anything related Ekta, that tends to happen.

Gosh, I would LOVE for Rajeev to do a solid, all out drama/ romance story, maybe an inspired pride and prejudice (cheesy, I know).

LOL, I just wiki'd KTH was based off Pride and Prejudice, how embarrassing.

For all the talk of bravado of rejecting Ekta, he doesn't have seemed to have lived up to his potential.

Even some of the sidey actors went onto do critically acclaimed stuff, like Surveen Chawla.

After all that hullabullo, even actors who stuck with Ekta have fared better, such as Ronit, Ram, though I can't stand them. Heck even Barun Sobti got good reviews for Tu Mera Sunday, whilst Rajeev is stuck with the likes of Gauhar. Table 21 was painfully average, sadly he only has Aamir to show for his plunge.

He more or less remains in the ranks of the juniors actors like Arjun, hosting lame TV shows, prodding actors to answer questions he himself would not answer about his relationships.

Guess there's no knowing, don't blame him for taking the leap to quit, he improved his acting by Aamir too but what does he have to show for it unlike Ronit (despicable human being) who stuck by the shows everyone mocks and came out the other side better for wear.

Till he was there the show was about him - his love, his revenge, his pain. His brother, his dad, his wife, his mom, etc. In those times it was rare for a male lead to be the centre point of the show.

The focus actually shifted to Kashish after Rajeev quit. Coz there was no one to shoulder the show.

Aamna is giving much better performances as Komolika, especially after leap she's doing so well. This is how I know of her because I was too young when KTH was on air to remember the story. I already knew Rajeev from "Reporter" Because I used to watch that show. Only recently I watched all 355 episodes of KTH up to when Rajeev was there. I rather not view those episodes with the plastic guy and just remember the good parts of the show instead.

And Aamna was dating Rajeev at that time so she hated the new guy anyways.

Oh let me give you a juicy tid bit. Since we did not have social media at that time, SBS was the only show that used to cover TV gossip. The other news channels hadn't started their own versions of it till then.

SBS used to read fanmail everyday, their fanmail segment was like a yardstick of popularity for TV actors. So one day on Gurpreet's (new Sujal) bday, a huge gift came for him -- with his pics and letters, and it praised him to the skies. It said he was the best and no one remembered Rajeev coz he had taken over Sujal. Blah blah. In the end SBS said, ye to bhej diya, but saath me galti se ek wallet bhi agaya hai. Apparently the wallet belonged to Gurpreet or his wife, they had staged this shizz. SBS said it would return their property to them, and asked them not to pull such stunts again.

So damn embarrassing. I can't find that video. Had anyone else seen it? Some fans from this forum told me about this incident.

WOW this is hilarious and I cannot believe it how embarrassing this must have been for plastic Tushar🤣. And worst is he even included his wife in it, how desperate. I do not understand how did he pass the audition to be even cast as someone like sujal, beyond my comprehension that Ekta chose this guy to replace Rajeev.

Shabbir-Rajeev had a great bonding, and I really loved the onscreen chemistry of the brothers too, not cheesy yet something to always remember. Even I loved Chaitanya as Akshat, his character was refreshing, someone who was a sujal fanboy, after 200 episodes of everyone hating on sujal, finally Akshat arrives to realize what a gen Sujal actually was.

Exactly, those days seeing a grey male lead rule the TRP charts was very unlikely and that too being rooted for was surprisin too. That's why i wrote in one of my comments it was commendable that some of the writers of Ekta's team actually built a character like sujal, too iconic and can be loved by every generation and the same set of writers wanted to ruin it, irony it is.

Sujal's antiheroism was NOT evil, he loved kashish and he breathed kashish, his genuine desire for her was so heart breaking that people connected with him, and whatever humiliation he did to kashish got faded due to kashish-piyush's over acting and their unapologetic behaviour of blaming and accusing sujal for their hypocrisy filled marriage. Otherwise antihero these days are evil, like most male leads Gul churn out are inspired from sujal and they usually burn, kill or even kidnap female lead's family members and all, which is terrible given they claim that they do it in love.

You know I never quite shipped Sujal/Kashish. The only reasons i ever wanted them to be together so bad was because (a) Sujal loved her and would never be able to love anyone else (2) Rajeev/Aamna looked heavenly together.

RE: Kashish. Again unpopular opinion. But I don't think that Kashish ever stopped loving Sujal. Throughout her marriage to Piyush, there were moments here and there when she clearly looked at Sujal lovingly but never crossed the line because she was married. Whether it was consummating with Piyush, shouting at Sujal or telling Sujal that she was pregnant, I felt that she wanted Sujal to feel the same pain of betrayal that he made her feel. Only, she took it a notch higher. I don't think she ever fell in love with Piyush. Sujal's antics (part his own, part those that were piled on him) made her irritated so she needed to build that bubble of a happy life for herself. It's more like she decided to just go with the flow and be 'happy'.

RE: Rishi. One of those negative characters that I loved. I don't think he set out to cause that much collateral damage, at least not to Sujal. Its just that his hatred for Kashish overpowered his love for Sujal and he miscalculated or had no idea that Sujal would destroy himself and everyone else in Kashish's love. Actually no one knew that Sujal's love for Kashish ran so deep, except his mother, who did nothing for her son.

There was a time that I hoped Sujal rejects kashish and kashish suffers to go back to him (Rajeev's sujal) but this never happened, and sujal deserved some sort of apology or redemption from kashish, because she not only betrayed him but also tried to kill him and kill her ownself, like she really did sme irrepairable acts which was horrible IMO. Kashish did not stop loving him, I agree with that, otherwise she would not be so comfortable with him around her 24/7, he blamed him for his presence but he always knew that she indeed loved him. Interestingly, he tells her the same thing when she goes to meet him and jail and keeps cursing him, all he says is that how great of a liar she is and how she has always only loved him, that is sujal for you.

Ohh I loved Rishi, because for once he could put sujal above everyone, and secondly he always knew that Sujal's love is destructive, if he would not be a womanizer, he probably would be the smartest characters in the show. And i always loved the fact that no matter how smart sujal is, he always used to trust Rishi blindly, the love he had for Rishi was amazing, these two brothers should have abandoned their father who loved piyush and varun more than his own sons.

About Piyush, well he was a manipulative looser, he always tried to play the good guy card and sujal for being brutally honest was misunderstood. And how the hell did piyush even think that it is easy to move on when one sees his childhood friend and his lady love getting married and living under the same roof, behaving as hypocrite soul mates, like who on earth has that much will power? Not even once Piyush realized that how heart breaking it was for sujal, he lost his love and friend, on top of that he has to see them together every freaking moment, how will he move on?

The rock bottom was when Piyush told sujal about his consummation with kashish, i hated piyush and could not even feel bad for his death, oh man that episode was a classic by the way, sujal burning that bed was on of the best scenes of Rajeev, that intense heart break and disgust was so much visible in his eyes.
