I come in that category too.I dint find Panga to be any xtraordinary movie. If anything the movie lacked the excitement factor that a sports movie generates. There were good scenes that’s it..as a whole I found the movie very average.

Kalank n Street dancer I haven’t scene. But as already said people go for entertainment..I myself prefer to watch serious cinema at home.I enjoy them alone.Whereas a Channai Express..or a Dabang however much mindless they are works as stress buster for the working class, students etc.

Sky is pink, panga belong to average to bad films category. They are not masterpiece.

Masterpiece is movies like bajirao mastani, padmaavat, bahubali which appeal to both art film lovers and masala movie goers. That's why these movies were success.

It honestly depends on the mindset at that point of time. People might choose to see a massy movie at some point of time when they WANT escapism and the same person might choose to watch something with more depth later. I am not a fan of outright action genre but there have been times I have just needed a laugh or simply didnt want the burden of thinking of flaws of the society AT THAT TIME, so chosen a more commercial movie to watch.

Plus, with most movies streaming at home now, I would probably choose to watch a movie in a theatre which warrants a theatre watch - like special effects. I would enjoy a Thappad at home but not Avengers possibly (unless it's a rewatch)
