Stree was a small film, but its success was high. No-one expected it to become a 100 crore grosser. What factor made the film such a huge hit?

The genre + great comedy + fantastic casting of supporting leads

Shraddha was not a factor and she didn't benefit as much from it even though the film was a huge hit.

It was a really well made film ..Attributing it to Shraddha is bit too far fetched because Batti Gul tanked three weeks later .RR has zero STAR POWER .

Mystery. They pointed out quite early on the story that Shraddha could be the dayan and people would want to know if she really was.
