Taapsee has the best line-up compared to any actress

5 films in one year - She is the lead protagonist in all of them. They all sound so promising and have great directors attached to them.

Thappad is the first one of the lot, of course it released to raving reviews and Taapsee won a lot of acclaim. But mentioning it in the list as it just released.

Thappad - A woman re-evaluates her marriage after her husband slaps her in the face in front of a group of people at a party.

Haseen Dilruba - A murder mystery within a twisted love story, co-★ing Vikrant Massey (produced by Anand L. Rai and directed by Vinil Mathew of Hasee Toh Phasee)

Shabaash Mithu - Biopic of Mithali Raj, directed by Rahul Dholakia (of Raees, Parzania)

Rashmi Rocket - The film is about a young girl, an incredibly fast runner, fondly called Rocket in the village. (Directed by Akash Khurana of Karwaan)

Loop Lapeta - Adaptation of German film Run Lola Run, co-★ing Tahir Raj Bhasin (and directed by Aakash Bhatia of Inside Edge)

that is indeed an impressive line-up

But I would say Parineeti has an equally impressive line-up(Girl on the train remake and Saina Nehwal biopic)

Also, acc. to me Vidya in a female-centric film(Shakuntala Devi biopic) film will chew up all competition. Imagine if in Mission Mangal she could earn recognition, her in a female-centric film will be unstopppable.

Rashmi Rocket looks like a c grade film

She is now a brand in herself ..Never before any actress has achieved this kind of feat with films being entirely focused on her.

Vidya did and Kangana did too, and a few others.

But Taapsee is doing it at a rate like it was never done before. 5 films centered around her in the same year. She's doing so well.

What Radhika Apte was two years back. Iska expiry date bhi 1 saal mein aa jayega... tab ek aur Radhika Apte ka agaman hoga BW mein.

I don't think so. Radhika wasn't doing leading roles like Taapsee. She was mostly on the sidelines, and in the last two years, her focus changed from BW to web series/HW.

Taapsee OTOH is very determined and passionate to make it big here. And her script selection shows that she is very serious about it.
