THE year has started off on a worrying note for B-town. A major studio is changing hands and is cherry-picking its retinue. While one department head has already bid goodbye, another head will soon roll as several of her pet projects have not found any takers at the box-office. We hear the top boss may also have to explain why certain projects were greenlit at a high cost and that too without any IPR. The new honcho is also laying down the new rules, one of which has rattled the partner of an upcoming film. Is it just a prelude to the tempest?
