Otherwise there was Aashiqui 2 as well which got a cult following but at the end of the day the movie opened to 5 Crores and had lifetime collections of 78 Crores. Shows that Shahid just needed the right film for his fans and they will flock to theatres.
Even if MOST OF Shahid's films have opened to 5-10 Crores, Ayushmann's ALL Films have opened In that range. And again you ignored Padmaavat, which makes it two swallows, not one swallow.😆
