Saw it.

Didn't understand much tbh 😆

All the ladies looked gorgeous.shobhita is a Fab actress, jhanvi was good minus the Hindi pronunciation.

Nothing looked scary to me. Anurag's one was pretty confusing.somehow it had a lot of potential if it was presented better or something, don't know.if anyone can explain what he wanted to portray maybe,I didn't get much 😆

Those child artists were good , but nothing else I liked on the dibakar one.i would rather watch a rerun of a train to Busan on tv

Kjo,as expected super glossy.but nothing storywise.o couldn't take my eyes off mrunal though.so gorgeous!!

Saw this even on twitter but wasn't Sameera's bad hindi pronunciation by design? There's a part where she says she was left at mysore station as an orphan so she is south Indian and they do speak like that. I guessed it at the begining itself when she said kaana nahi kaate hai instead of khaana nahi khaate hai to Surekha Sikri's character.

I read everywhere how tumbbad was so good. After watching tumbbad after ghost stories omg.. ghost stories looks like shit. I change my ratings to 1/10 for all stories except dibankar one. Tumbbad was one genius movie!

Everyone talks about Tumbbaad but no one talks about Phobia 😭 I rank that higher than Tumbbaad.

Disaster anthology.

Zoya's part builds up in a decent way but by the end you are like why did I waste my time watching this flat dialogue delivery and joke of a ghost story. If you decide to continue, you are presented with a typical Anurag Kashyap stunt. You can spend time making sense of his metaphors but you would really be better off trying to prove Fermat's last theorem than try to rationalize his artsy film making. Dibakar's film is the only one worth watching because by the time you watch it your expectations are so low that a blistering socio-political commentary on communalism in place of horror can make you go wow. Then we come to the worst of the worst part, directed by none other KJo, where the story is as good as a daily soap and horror is present in amounts lesser than the screen presence of AnniePee.

I am embarrassed to ask but can someone explain the end of zoya's story to me. I actually was liking the whole creepy environment but at the end I was like.. "Ye kya tha"😕

Spoiler below:

The old lady had died three days back. Sameera was interacting with her ghost throughout the film. She was abandoned by her son and left alone so she was crawling her way to the kitchen when she was hungry and died in the kitchen. That's why you hear a floor dragging sound that scares Sameera everytime, the shadow of which is seen from the little space left under the door. So in the last scene, Sameera finally realizes she has been interacting and living with the ghost of the woman who is lying dead in front of her.

Can we please discuss Anurag's story? I'm still trying to figure out if she really ate her baby or not. I know the miscarriage part but the rest was so confusing in the name of the art. Also, the lil boy was creepy af
