The meteoric rise and fall of Kangana

It was just in 2014 that Kangana was hailed as the next best thing. Queen and TWMR were movies that gave her a new life of sorts at the box-office. But this success was short-lived, what with all her movies from 2016 flopping one after the other. Now she is back again to her old position.

Interestingly, Ranaut has more often than not picked characters that fall between sunset and sunrise – in the twilight zone – portraying women who are defiant and daring, sometimes to the point of appearing foolish. Some have worked, most have not.

So, what do you guys feel about this quick rise and fall? Was it content that had worked for her or does she really have star status?

When I saw Fashion and a few scenes and songs from Queen, I found her acting mesmerizing. She is a good actor. She is outspoken and many people in the industry bite her a lot for it and she in lieu doing the same to them. With success, it becomes more comfortable to be more outspoken inviting more enemies. Usually, success itself generates a lot of enemies, even if you remain humble and welcoming. Queen earned her star power because of good acting and good & emotional story line that the public was able to relate to.

1. Success got to her head to the extent that she thinks she's the next best thing after sliced bread. Given that she was supposedly a 'successful outsider', she thought she could garner supporters by constantly whining about nepotism which caused the industry to isolate her. I'm not saying that nepotism isn't rampant but she doesn't do it for noble causes. She's a big fat attention seeker.

2. Her idiotic sister who has nothing to do with the industry (although we know who's behind the screen) randomly hurls ghatiya abuses towards so many people from the industry like Deepika, Hrithik Taapsee, Alia, Ranbir, KJo. That also tarnished Kangu's already non-existent reputation.

3. Her controversies about her arrogance and reputation of interfering with the director's vision (Manikarnika, Simran, now Panga also apparently no?) must have really repelled filmmakers.

4. (The one I'm truly pissed about -.-) Her clinging on to the controversy with Hrithik and acting like a cheap sadak chaap psychotic without class, moving her films to clash with Super 30, speaking bs and putting him and his family through shit for so much of time, manipulating Sunaina, and trying to get away by constantly using the feminism card. Garbage human being.

Also no offence, but she was strictly average in Manikarnika so her claims of winning the NA for that make her seem conceited and unlikeable more than confident. I personally think she's generally a good actress (not the best, not the worst) but it's her offscreen personality that's the reason for her downfall. And overall, honestly NOTHING makes me want to root for her. Buuut YoU gO gIrL 🤪

I think the most foolish thing she could do and did was to try and clash that mental movie with Super30! 👍🏼

and as they say.. it's the showbiz.. if you're gonna talk big.. you gotta have the numbers too.. sad but true! She's had a few flops in a row now.. and also that thing called Karma😊
