Hate comments caused death for this K-Pop artist

Kpop artist Sulli was found dead in her home due to suicide. She had been depressed and one of the reasons is online bullying and hateful comments.

This is so sad. People need to stop posting hateful comments for celebrities.

They are also humans. They are flawed, that should not mean then we torture them so much through social media.

However tough we are, we cannot remain immune to so many comments like this.

The next time you post a hateful comment on someone , celeb r not, think again.. you could be the cause of their death.

This is really disturbing. I remember watching her in to the beautiful you 😭 this entertainment industry has everything except mental and emotional peace and stability to offer.

Korean keyboard queens and sasang and what not , they are really scary and the pressure these idols has to work is pathetic. Its just so unsettling after reading this.

At this point no one can or should say what the reasons were. Judging by what I saw and read about selected kpop artists and their career ups and lows, I'm surprised there aren't more suicides, though. Kpop seems to me one of the most toxic showbiz industries on this planet. Sure, nasty comments don't help, but let's not conveniently forget about the bigger issue.

this is why people need to understand their words have consequences, the amount of hate on social media i see for stars is so disturbing, people calling them all sorts of names, judging them, making up stories and lies about them, these stars are human, think about how low and terrible these stars must feel wen they see such hate, no one deserves to have to go through this

Seungri, toilet Yoochun and Kim Hyun Joong are definitely not innocent lol.

Sulli was the classic case of child stars who got into showbiz really early and didn't get to experience a proper childhood. I have followed f(x) for some time and it was obvious that she wasn't really into the idol life. Even after she quit being an idol there would always be articles on her social media activities and constant negative comments on her by Knetz. I hope she rests in peace now.

As saddened as I am by this news I'm not surprised this happened. The hate this girl got was too severe and It was constant. And for what? Dating? Not wearing a bra? Posting dumb pictures on IG? I'm so baffled. Its like she got hate for just existing. Years of hate comments killed that girl. May she RIP. I'm worried for Goo Hara as well. I hope shes doing OK.
