I literally had to search through the internet to see when and where he said those words. Must say TM is obsessed with Shahid even though he/she hates him 😆

And people are complaining about how the country is getting intolerant all the time. Like seriously...... he can't even share his thoughts 🤔. Even I don't see why he would draw such comparisons but Few are almost criminalizing him here which is beyond me.

Baazigar was a problematic movie (unlike Darr), it would have been received way differently in today's world. It is not an anti-hero, the character was a criminal, faking love and killing. Remove the mother angle and all the sympathies would be gone.

Baazigar and Darr arrived in the same year and back to back months. They were running simultaneously in cinemas. People, therefore, tend to club both movies together. Baazigar gets a pass despite its problems with the protagonist, and manipulative plot.

one redeeming thing is the antihero dies in baazigar. In Kabir Singh he's shown as in a happy marriage with Preeti all romantic thus glorified. Grey shaded characters can be potrayed but they should be potrayed honestly with the consequences of such behavior

SK: You've thought that this girl is your gf or your sister. Tune bohot personally lelia.

No... He hasn't gone mad.. just. Bit bitter at his one of the most successful movies getting backlash..

The comparison is wrong though.. Baazigar did not have a happy ending, people sympathized with history of Shah's character but I don't think anyone thought he was right to kill Shilpa

What happened to him?? 🤦🤦 He should stop talking about KS... The movie was never a critic or media darling for him to go on defence like this. Just say it is what it is and move on... The movie made money and is his biggest hit. He is not getting any brownie points for talking like this.

Don't see how it was problematic..it's not like he got some happy ending with Kajol's character. The mother angle and tragic backstory are necessary for his character to work and be interesting, why would you remove that?

He is still an anti hero imho

I can't believe he's a father to a daughter. This has the same tone of 'teri behen lagti hain woh?'.
