I am still not so sure about this decision. I understand where AK is coming from but I am not fully convinced about this. My counter thought is that what if he is guilty - and then he does this film and it's a big hit and people continue to work with him even after he is found guilty. Sanjay Dutt, Salman Khan have even gone to jail but people still work with them. Innocent until proven guilty , so it's a right call. We all know how Tanushree's accusations on poor Nana went out .

If only more would understand this..sadly "woke" people already think someone is guilty based on some accusation

I just find it interesting that he always includes Kiran's name in his controversial choices. I remember it was Kiran who felt 'unsafe' and thinking of leaving India, the way he said it.

Of course, the uproar cost his popularity with Satyamev Jayate series and brought his patriotism under question.

Why do you believe it with so much conviction?

A case dismissed due to lack of evidence does not mean someone is innocent.

I think it's fair for him not to get such lucrative work as long as he is not cleared. He can do other kinds of work on a set. He doesn't have to sit idle. But why should he get to work in such a big project as director? What if he is found guilty while the movie shooting is going on? Are they going to kick him out in the middle? Has anyone ever thought of what the girl might be feeling if it's true? Is it fair on her that she watches this man be treated so kindly while she is traumatized and agonizingly waiting to be proven right?
