Is Prabhas a bigger star than Ranveer in North India? - Page 5

I think Bahubali did it for Prabhas...I know a lot of North Indians like me are fans of Prabhas after Bahubali....otherwise all South Indian languages are French and Latin for me.

I have lots of respect for Rajnikant because he is so humble despite being a megastar but not really his fan.

Forget Ranveer! He ain’t squat in front of Prabhas’ box office draw. Our own Hindi established “superstars” should be freaking embarrassed outta their mind. 87 crore all India nett on a non holiday Friday. Holy shiatsu.🤯

Baahubali has made him the one and only pan Indian superstar. This goes to show you Bollywood industry has been so stagnant when 9 of the top 20 opening days of all time are Telugu movies. 😬

Bahubali defo made him huge, my cousin little cousin sister, because of whom we went today, was absolutely happy to see Prabhas, blushing whenever he was on screen haha.

She watched Bahubali 2 in theaters, after that whenever she comes to my place, always asks me to play cartoons and allin YouTube, but when it comes to movies Bahubaliis is the first choice always.

But even the great, super star Rajni is primarily restricted to South India. He never broke through in the Northern markets as is the case for the Bollywood “superstars” down South. Based on numbers alone, Prabhas post baahubali is the one and only pan Indian box office superstar. Transcendent!

Do we dare deny that Prabhas has managed to give 80+cr opening in India, which includes 25cr in Hindi? Why is he being compared with Ranveer whose biggest opening day is 20cr for Simba movie from Rohit Shetty's so called Cop Universe Franchise?

On topic : No. I may be the only one, but I don't think Prabhas has pan Indian appeal. The movie is a full-on masala entertainer, which appeals to the masses. Gully boy was much more niche and subtle. Even then it got a terrific opening.

Ran veer is the biggest star after the Khan's and Akshay.
