this mud slinging HAS TO STOP. Enough with both the sides throwing stones at each other. I have done that too and I am not proud of that. This is really sad where this has gotten to. Mehwish should keep quiet and mind her own business. We also made movie War which was anti India..we also lift songs..we should not lecture others when we do it ourselves too.

Its funny. Folks songs could have been originated anywhere in punjab in history. There is no proof they were developed in lahore or pakistan side of punjab only . There r many folks songs which were originated in indian side punjab and has been used in other side too. Amritsar and lahore were like few minutes drive from each other .. Punjab was huge state and fact is its not pakistan's copyright on a folk song which is part of whole punjab. Funny theories fivestar ji to give credit for folk song🤣 and use singer's origin for this when folk songs were common throughout the state.

Origins of old singer r from lahore but when it was part of india and she is indian singer. And folk songs r part of whole punjab culture not just lahore. Funny how people wanna credit specific areas for a folk song!

I kinda understand what she's saying and it does come across as hypocritical. At the Lakme Fashion show Pakistani songs were being played whilst models/actors were walking out. It doesnt make sense. If the country has taken a stance of patriotism then they should disassociate themselves with Pakistan and not use their music either for shows etc and maybe play Indian music
