The one you posted is the original one (or to say the popularized one). Surinder Kaur was from Lahore who came to India after partition. But she was born and brought up there and then started her singing career in Punjab after independence. So most of all the punjabi folk songs that are made into BW remixes these days are originally folk songs that originated in the Punjab region before independence but now is a part of Pakistan. So when you try to check the original of these remixed tracks you will find they are all sung by old Pakistan based singers.

I remember watching Fahad Mustafa's movie called Na Maloom Afrad, it was a ditto copy of Akshay Kumar's Heri Pheri; from characterization to the plot. Even that critically acclaimed movie Cake was very similar to Kapoor and Sons.

Also, Bollywood has a habit of picking songs composed or sung by Pakistani artists, and are greatest hits now. Although it's not plagiarism as they do buy rights etc., before remaking. Bollywood plagiarizes more from west.

least these people can do is acknowledge that they lifted or were "inspired" .

and i already said that even vital signs lifted this song

one person said origin in pakistan punjab area...but then that person also acknowledge that singer with most popular version moved to indian punjab
