Superstar movie being pushed as a hit even though it’s not

Whether a film is a hit or a flop, depends on many aspects. One such area is the box office collection made by the movie. A recent release of a superstar is being called a super hit by trade people, the studio and the actors. When in reality, the film still needs to collect at least 30 crore more at the ticket windows to enter the ‘hit’ club. The reason behind this is that the superstar in question is getting many projects to sign and a hit is what he needs for a boost in his career.

While the superstar has garnered great reviews with his mind-blowing acting skills, it has not reflected on the box office collections made by the film. As of now, it has managed to scrape the 100-crore mark. However, it still has a long way to go before it becomes a hit. In fact, fans are more excited for his next action thriller which is said to be the game changer in his career, rather than this one.

Apparently, audience would rather see his handsome face in masala entertainers rather than realistic and slice-of-life films. All the controversies have not helped the film become a star at ticket windows and his look in the film has also been criticized by many. But we won’t be too surprised if the film manages to achieve the magical numbers in the coming week and a huge party is thrown in its honour. Better luck next time, maybe?
