How did her PR team think this was a good move? If she’s determined to do this movie she could have released a statement with some cockamamie excuse about how nothing was ever proven against Ranjan and let it go.

Rumors about her being in this move were doing the rounds for months. She made an indirect confirmation with that meeting after Super30 became a hit with Vikas basically getting a free pass for all the shit he’s done. I wonder if DP and her team thought she would be able to sail through as smoothly as well? Not an excuse at all. As a woman I expected better from her. Not to mention the hypocrisy after she kicked others accused from MAMI.

However she may deny it but this is the age of social media and an actor’s image matters to the audience. Blaming the other party will not berate herself from her wrong doing.
