its not just dp, i expect the same from my faves too. Don't expect much from them.😵. All of them are there for 100s of crores. These things can be solved only if big shots of industry get rid of it but they are the main culprits. Producers and investors are those big shots. Actors and actresses don't wanna mess with them. Bcoz all these crores will disappear. Bcoz when they stop getting work in movies, all endorsements will disappear too . . Don't have too much expectations😆

I don't think anyone will do a Luv Ranjan movie thinking that it is going to be an oscar worthy movie or that are going to get critcal acclaim. This movie is going to be a big hit no matter what anybody say online and that is what is going to matter at the end of the day. Everyone is chasing the next big blockbuster.

Online stans are a small fraction of any star's fanbase and they all know it. A lot of movies despite getting trashed online makes a lot of money. Even some stars who are bashed 24/7 on stan twitter is quite popular and loved in real life.

i understand that getting critical acclaim and box office success are both important, deepika doing a big blockbuster movie is fine, she has done it before with movies like yjhd and hny and she has every right to do them, but her fans have held her to a high standard because deepika has created that standard, she has portrayed her self as someone who stands up especially for women, she threw out meetoob accused anirban blah from her foundation and stood with the meetoo movement during MAMI, and now knowing that she is working with a meetoo accused is a difficult thing for many of her fans to accept or wrap their heads around

i know online fans are a small fraction, the rest of the audience doesn't even know wats going on online and maybe alot of them don't even know about the meetoo movement, this luv ranjan film will probably end up being a hit, but its sad to think that alot more don't care about stuff like meetoo, coz it enables people like vikas bahl and Luv to gain power and money, i mean just reading those tweets of Luv that i posted shows he is a trashy guy

and like i said she can get a blockbuster with another director, there are so many directors who are not meetoo accused, she got that offer from anurag basu for imli, she is friends with farah and cud do her next if she wanted to, anyway at the end of the day its dp's choice

Good lord. Let me say this again, I cannot wait for her downfall. I feel so bad for Chhapaak that her face is now going to be attached to Lakshmi's story. But it is what it is. Truly shameless in every possible way. An example should be made of Deepika's case. We can support better people and we should. What a spineless piece of trash. To actually try to invalidate a hashtag that her young girl fans did owning to their own experiences of harassment.. what a pathetic woman.

Whatever bubble I had about her totally broke today. I find her utterly loathsome...I hope karma catches her good. Immoral and despicable woman.

I don't care about Deepika but I honesty don't know why she's getting flak for this. It was her fans who put her on a pedestal which she never deserved. They created their own fantasies about what kind of person she is and how she's better than everyone else.

The reality is nobody in BW is going to stop working with anyone based on financial scandals or on #metoo allegations. People need to worry about their own livelihood and if they had such standards, they would not be able to work at all. Will they stop working with Amitabh who is involved in Panama Papers, paradise papers, stealing land from farmers, harassing Sayali Bhagat, allegations by Parveen Babi, and other things? Almost every other person is involved in something bad. You can't have a career if you stop working with them all. It's not possible.

People, including Deepika, are going to be practical and work with whoever they need to. None of us would quit our jobs either if our boss ended up being accused in a case. We all need our paychecks. All this is easy to say but very hard to put into effect.
