So true. If she's genuine about her concern for outsiders that are trying to make it in Bollywood, she could've taken them under her wings. That would've been a good pr and score high with fans and non fans alike. But like you said, Kangana is all about ME ME and ME.
Daniel
You tell Daniel that he's doing something wrong. Say, he's being disruptively loud in a hotel at night.
Daniel thinks, "Oh shit, I don't want to be the bad guy. I'll adjust my behavior."
Rachel
You tell Rachel that she's doing something wrong.
Rachel thinks, "Oh shit, I don't want to be the bad guy. But wait a minute, I'm not a bad person. If there's a problem, it must be your fault."
Neither of these people wants to think of themselves as the bad guy, or to be known as a bad person. But one of them is able to self-reflect, to empathize with the other party's position, and to change to better fit in with their social atmosphere. This person has a good, healthy self-image and knows that making mistakes does not equal being a bad person. This person is a cool person.
The other...is not. The other is insecure and takes conflicts and complaints as personal attacks. They get defensive and can be very petty. They double down when challenged, even when caught on logically indefensible ground. They'll resort to absolutely anything to avoid having to admit fault.
My example is being loud in a hotel--Daniel says "oh shit, sorry" and stops being loud. Rachel just says you're being too sensitive and refuses to cooperate. Then you call the cops, and she's even angrier because, f***, she's not doing anything wrong, it's those whiners who are the cause of the problem!
But this applies to many, many other facets of their lives, including racism. You tell Daniel he's being racist, he recognizes that as a bad thing, thinks about how the other person is being hurt, and fixes it. Rachel recognizes racism as a bad thing, but refuses to believe she could be making a mistake. Instead, she defaults to one of a dozen ready-made excuses to justify her behavior so she doesn't have to fix it. You're just sensitive, minorities don't have it bad anymore, democrats are the real racists, take your pick.
I found this on Reddit politics today and I found Rachel's description so similar to Kangu.
But boycott would mean complete abandonment. Aren’t they still talking about her, ergo not boycotting her?
could you enlighten on how you came to that conclusion. let me guess, coz according to you, she is bitter about everyone and anyone.
how did you manage to read her mind and heart.
In my opinion she is, a woman who does not fear failure, does not hesitate to speak if and when she wants to , does not care if she is keeping people in the industry happy , should be one who is at peace with herself in her heart. That is one happy woman according to me.
Oh my God. What kind of shallow thinking is this? Is it all about the exterior behaviour she shows? What kind of happiness do you obtain when you psychologically torture someone who doesn't reciprocate your 'feelings', and his kids who got bullied at school, by supposedly "speaking your mind" aka opening your potty mouth and speaking about the family for absolutely no reason? What kind of happiness do you get by showing no sense of etiquette and proper language in public and targeting people who you need as much as, if not more than, they need you? What kind of happiness do you get by bringing your other film to the limelight and triggering a journalist without any respect for your current film cast and crew? What kind of happiness do you get by chopping the screen time and good scenes performed by your co-stars because you feel they are overshadowing you? What kind of happiness do you get by exploiting the real issues pertaining to sexism and nepotism only to your convenience - to gather supporters - so as to conceal your inability to find arguments to support the rubbish you spew? What kind of happiness do you get by cyber-bullying people on Twitter, using cheap language (and don't even tell me that BS that it's not her but Rangoli, we're not that dumb)? What kind of happiness do you get when you lie about SO MANY THINGS and shamelessly indirectly act as the victim again and again when your nonsense gets pointed out?
Do you know what kind of happiness this is? It's called sadism and it's a sign of sheer insecurity, dissatisfaction, deep complexes and pathetically low self-esteem.
She is a frustrated, inconsiderate, insecure, crass and VERY unhappy human being who cannot live without attention and who uses real issues to hide her real weak personality, and she is seriously going to get hit by Karma like a storm for "speaking if and when she wants to". And it's barely the beginning.
I know it's useless to even try to put across these points because you'll always hail every single shit she does for idk what reasons but I guess the the main reason why Karma should hit Hrithik and his family is for the mistake of them ever casting this excuse of a woman for their film.

Yeah they still kinda are 😒.
Karma already bit Hrithik big time, now if its KR's turn so be it. Karma bites everyone , there are always ups and downs in everyone's life. what matters is how one rises from it and moves on.
The sisters are doing pretty well. They have a settled life, living well in Manali, have good work to talk about. Just coz they dont have friends in "bollywood" or the "media" does not matter. In the end, if you are happy doing what you want to do, on your own terms, have a family to spend time with , have even one friend or 2, that is what matters.
Gosh, this talk about Karma is getting stale
How do you decide that it's Karma that hit HR ? This way for all victims in the world for all crimes can be termed that they are paying for their Karma isn't it ?
Kangana has made HR's life hell even if it's for a temporary period. HR will come out of it sooner or later, with his conscience, family, kids, ex-wife and friends clean. Meanwhile the sisters like vultures will keep sulking, abusing people on twitter and in person, keep complaining about non-existent imaginary incidents and no one will pay attention to them or try to take them to doctors for cure. Well in my book, THIS is what I call Karma and sad life.

So Kangana going through troubled times is Karma but HR going through worse is not Karma?. ok then. whatever suits you, I wasn't the one who used it, whenever someone goes into trouble, thats what they say, so I used the same since it should be applicable to all isn't it and not just on one individual.
Everyone in life goes through their ups and downs, thats part of life. Hr went through it, so did Kangana , good thing is that both have risen above it. That's called life so lets not throw around the word Karma loosely as and when it suits our agenda and likes. It doesn't work that way.
I didn't want to use HR troubled times yet when people use it only for KR when she goes through tough times but forget that others have gone through worse and the word is not used to them...its unfair. Karma gets to everyone not just one individual.
what you see as sulking and imaginary. I don't see it that way. Maybe both of us are biased in our perspective, that's fine. lets agree to disagree.

Yes, but still very bad for her as long as most of the coverage looks like this article. As Kangana knows from personal experience people believe whatever they hear repeatedly. It worked when she was telling her lies and it will work now that people are telling the truth .

Here's one which exposes the media's hypocrisy

Kangana Ranaut has recently been the talk of the town all around the entertainment industry. During the launch event of her new movie, Judgemental Hai Kya’s the Wakhra song, her disagreement with a journalist has caused much uproar in the media.
The Entertainment Journalists Guild in light of the incident decided to ban Kangana Ranaut, a decision, which has been backed by the Press Club of India.
While it is true that there was a disagreement between Kangana Ranaut and a PTI journalist, Justin Rao; the two individuals were merely expressing their opinions as opposed with differed. In this, Kangana Ranaut felt that Justin was being unnecessarily unfair to her movie, a claim which was disputed by the journalist himself. However, in light of the untoward incident, Kangana was being asked to apologize by the journalists, who were threatening to otherwise boycott her.
The entertainment guild stated, “We, as a guild, have collectively decided to boycott Ms Ranaut and not give her any media coverage.”
Fully backing the guild, Press Cub of India issued a statement, “We the Press Club of India are aghast, anguished and shocked at the incident involving an actress of Bollywood using uncivilised, uncultured, filthy and abusive language against the media persons. We condemn it in the strongest possible words. This behaviour and hurling abuses towards journalists are unacceptable. We support the decision of the boycott by the journalists covering the entertainment industry in Mumbai namely Entertainment Journalists Guild.”
Kangana Ranaut thereafter made a video in which she stated that she was merely expressing her own opinions and that she does not care about the journalists. She has worked hard to reach her current position, which is not to be undermined by the journalists.
However, brazen and bold that Kangana is, the incident with the journalists and their reaction reeks of hypocrisy. Celebrities in the past have done much much worse to the journalists, so much so that criminal complaints were filed against them, and yet, the behavior was excused because of ‘stardom’.
Salman Khan has launched scathing attacks at the journalists multiple times in the past. He has been rude and uncouth towards the journalists if a question directed towards him makes him even slightly uncomfortable. Recently, a journalist also filed a criminal complaint against him on charges of assault, threat and abuse. Allegedly, Salman Khan and his aides had jumped in the journalist’s car and assaulted him after he had taken Salman Khan’s photograph.
During Hrithik Roshan’s visit to the temple of Shirdi a few years ago, he had grabbed the neck of one of the cameramen and pushed him out of the temple.
Ranbir Kapoor is also known for his frequent squabbles with the media. Once, when he was photographed, he stopped his car and quarreled with the photographer, and ended up snatching the person’s phone.
Govinda has also been in the news quite a bit for unruly beahviour towards the media. Once, during shooting of the movie Money Hai Toh Honey Hai, he slapped a new journalist while he was interviewing him.
Arjun Rampal has also had his fair share of untoward incidents. Once, when he was spotted with Sussanne by a cameraman, Rampal proceeded to hurl abuses mercilessly at the media-person.
Last year during Diwali, Sanjay Dutt had abused the journalists stationed outside his house and had used really foul language, when they were merely doing their jobs.
These incidents are just the tip of the iceberg. But the media shrugged off the incidences and kept eulogizing these ‘stars’.
However, Kangana Ranaut isn’t a ‘star’ is the proper sense for them. She is famous for airing her views without the fear of being politically correct, something the pseudo liberals and the secular journalists cannot tolerate. Time and again, she has been in the limelight for her opposing views, which is looked down upon by the elites. She has taken a stand against the prevalence of dynasties in the industry, and also the fact that women actors are paid much less than their male counterparts, facts which are constantly ignored and accepted in the industry. In a liberal Bollywood, she is unabashedly right, the fan of the man hated by many in the Bollywood. Thus, she had become an easy target of the media.
Now, the fact that she has a different opinion than the rest of the Bollywood clan is being held against her. The incident is just being used to fuel fire for the pre-conceived notions the journalists hold against Kangana. No doubt, it was a heated conversation but nothing more disastrous than the incidents with other actors. The hypocrisy of the media is clearly visible.
