Very probalematic film.
Anti hero is glorified.
Kills an innocent girl and lies to bed her sister in the name of revenge , and by the end even she falls in love with him , just bcz he wanted revenge on a guy ,it wasn't okay to bring his daughters and using them, a good case of toxic masculine violence being showcases as okay and also dies like a hero with sad music and women pining for him.
For the sake of argument, here the end justified the means. The anti hero died.🤪

As if Kabir Singh isn't. Don't talk to me about how he redeems himself and blah blah.

Bazigar ke topic main kabir singh kahan se aayi
Topic diversion tactics ?
In the original HW version, the guy is a psychopath, he wants to climb the social ladder so he kills...
There was no revenge angle... His family was not ruined by the girl’s dad
And the girls were twins, wonder why they didn’t let Kajol play both roles in Baazigar
the only thing to like abt this film are performances..
story's pathetic. understood the leading protagonist suffered so much because of antagonist and his sister died because of his actions but he did not kill her literary did he, then who gave him the right to kill someone's innocent daughter like this just to make someone suffer..and if u really watched the film, Dilip Tahil barely's shown to be suffering after shilpa's death which was even more frustrating.
I also used to like the actor who played the cop, but not now ever since i came to know he played rapist in jaani dushman, pitaah and god knows how many movies🤢i can barely look at him. but came to know the actor died due to illness or something. may god bless his soul.
Still Baazigar with all the flaws promises something different and its success was really an indication that people'r ready to lap up stuff that's not run of the mill.
Ehhh don't like this film. He literally killed an innocent girl. I don't understand how could Kajol feel any sympathy at the end.. forget about your dad, how can u forgive him killing your sister who didn't do anything to his family.
If you had to pick just one Bollywood movie as your all-time favorite, which one would it be? And what makes it so special for you?
