Even with flops Shahid always had credibility of being a good actor thats why always got offers. There's nothing about parineeti.

Also its baseless to compare Shahid with Parineeti. Actresses have a very short career span compared to actors, so they never make a comeback after having a downfall.

I don't even know if this movie will be a good one.. The story focuses a lot on addiction to alcohol and the way Bollywood portrays things like that is.. well... cartoonish and loud.

I'd love for this to be a mature take, but I have my doubts. Who is the director?

I didnt say ONLY her.......I said someone like her.......or maybe anyone else..........personally I wouldve loved Deepika to do the role.........or maybe Katrina, after the character she played in 'ZERO'........ It's just that Parineeti in a movie, doesn't seem much exciting........

Priyanka apni kisi production venture mein isko role de de. Kisi bhi achi film ka remake aisi flop actress ke saath banayenge, toh woh film ruin ho jayegi.

Katrina would be a good choice.

It's always going to be a mystery to me that in wanting to be all glamorous and lose weight, Parineeti lost whatever charm she had as an actor. She literally forgot how to act. I was shocked watching her in Golmaal, even with that small flower pot role, she seemed glaringly lacking. To compare current her to her initial beginning performances in Ishqbaaz and Hasee toh phasee, zameen asmaan ka farak hai! At this point, I doubt anything can be done. If only she were a little smarter and had navigated her career better.

Her career has been nothing but reinventing herself. 🤦🏼‍♀️
