So should we not appreciate his performance in KS?

The ENTIRE Bollywood including Greek God like Hrithik or Madhubala are called ugly here on this forum & nobody had an issue, they weren't ever called ''racist''.. why? Because they're from Bollywood? So calling Bollywood actors ugly isn't racist but calling South actors ugly is racist? That's nothing but hypocritical bullshit which i'm calling out here.
Both Bollywood & South industries & its actors are open to criticism.. & criticism doesn't make anyone racist. So neither calling South actors ugly is racist nor calling Hrithik ugly is racist. They're just opinions, views of different people which differs based on their taste/preferences.. that's what forums are for -discussing different views of different people!
Did anyone call , get it through your thick Gujararti skull, thick Punjabi skull? Guess no. There's a difference between between bashing actors and going ahead and making fun of an entire state.
I do think some Telugu actors are ugly as fu**, who are forced on to us because of the nepotism . Racist is the word i have used, others didn't and my reason for calling her racist has got nothing to do with Telugu actors ugliness.
All my good wishes to Shahid. I never criticised him, and never will. I think hate for an actor, for his on screen character is the greatest stupidity. I don't know why you pointedly asked me this question if Shahid's performance must be appreciated? Could you be kind enough to give a reason?

She called Telugu thick skull. I found it kind of racist. It's fine if she or u doesn't feel it racist. 😊
Bollywood is bashed just for kicks and giggles. Everyone bashes not because we hate them, it's for time pass. If there is a rule that south Indians shouldn't talk about any north actor negatively and It's only allowed for northie then fine. We will stick to the actors like Deepika, Rekha, Hemamalini, Sridevi.
We were comparing VD and SK bcoz it's comparision post and the director of the movie is a Telugu speaking person, who also is the writer of the movie.
So Bollywood bashing is for ''giggles & kick'' but South industry bashing is ''racist''? Wow. If that's not hypocritical, then what else.
& nobody ever stopped anyone from bashing Bollywood..its bashed day-night here & nobody has a problem with that.. but problem only arise when someone dares to bash/speak anything against South industry on this forum. This thread is prove.

My response wasn't to you but to the other member aish as she said calling South actors ugly is racist.. i was calling her out on that.

I was the first one to call her racist. Then u called out on me "But God forbid, if someone DARES to speak a little about South industries on this forum, all hell breaks loose & that member is bullied by other members, ganged upon, mock & even called racist & shit" - ur comment.
Then Aish tried to back me up, who is not even Telugu speaking person by the way. And I don't agree with her statement that calling some actors ugly is racist.
People called they didn't like SK's acting and some nepotism shit. For that reply should have been they didn't like VD's acting and something like that. Even calling him ugly wouldn't matter as it's that person's opinion.
But , the problem araises , when someone goes ahead and says be in limit Telugu guy/ girl, u people are nothing special. The movie is a hit because of Shahid and music. Oh yes, that movie is written and directed by a Hindi director , not Sandeep reddy Vanga.
And most of the movies are same old, the reason behind Kabir Singh's success is the music, storyline and Shahid. Viewers were longing for an intense love story with big stars, it has been a while so everyone went to watch it. Nobody knows the director here so he is only a minor factor, get that through your thick Teluguskull.
You are what you are because of ur roots. South directors like Mani ratnam make movies in Hindi as they want their talent to be recognised and appreciated along with their roots. Just like Deepika and Aish would love to be recognized as Indians , when they are in abroad but would want to represent south India , when they are in bollywood . Just like Arjith singh will be an Indian and, Bengali and Punjabi pride. A.R rahman is an Indian and Tamilians pride. India needs to be celebrated for its unity in diversity and not be condescending to the people of other languages.
If you want to be like Kangana Ranaut, who was hell belt on showing people (Krish) their place. Go ahead, no one is stopping.
Bahubali or Arjun reddy or Kabir Singh , they all pay taxes to the gov, which will be useful for the enrire country.

I agree with what you said & I never had any issues with any of that. The thing that I had an issue with was the fact some members labeling other members as racist if they call any South actor ugly (& this has happened several times on this forum). So i find it hypocritical that the same people have no problem in bashing & trashing Bollywood actors on their looks, body, etc but would call other members racist if they bash South actors. That's it.
To me, every movie industries & their actors are open to criticism/bashing/praises/comparison etc.. & no one should have a problem with that. I hope i made myself clear. :)

Not true. Vijay is no where a nepotism product. He had struggled for good 5-6 years, he cannot be called as nepotistic.
His first noticeable role in 2012 was of a villian's sidekick not even the hero's. Then he got a supporting role in a small budget movie. Later he finally got a main role in an even smaller budget movie, with main focus on the herione. I remember reading the budget was some 10-20 lakhs!!! Then he made Arjun reddy happen.
Vijay should try in Bollywood.....he is quite good looking
