Love doesn’t absolve people of doing the wrong thing or facing the consequences ...KS did face his consequences ...it’s debatable if he suffered enough...but that didn’t make me think he was OK by any means...maybe preethi was ok to have him in her life but I didn’t want any part of him ....
I didn’t consider preethi and him getting back together as his reward....or endorsement that he was right at any time or that he was ok...he still remained an asshole...With a wife who made a poor choice
My argument was not with people liking or disliking a film...just the questioning of the existence of the film and of ppl liking the film
Your interpretation of the movie makes sense but I still don't agree with the fact that these kind of movies should be made.
As per the news article, it has an effect on society who think its normal to stalk women to the point, that they would give in. So, yes it's not just about liking or disliking, it's about whether such a movie can effect people negatively and reinforce stereotypes (if she is quiet, she is consenting, you "own" her etc etc.)
