From Puma to Fanta, Sara Ali Khan becomes brand favourite with 11 endorsement deals

Sara Ali Khan has become the latest sensation with marketers betting big on her.

MUMBAI: Sara Ali Khan, the 23-year old Bollywood actress and daughter of actors Amrita Singh and Saif Ali Khan, has become the latest sensation with marketers betting big on her.

Managed by KWAN Entertainment, the two-film old starlet already has 11 brand endorsements in her kitty, with an estimated annual revenue of over Rs 30 crore this year alone. She endorses brands including Fanta, Puma, Ceriz(footwear and handbags), Veet and Tribhovandas Bhimji Zaveri (TBZ).

She has also signed deals with a big Chinese mobile manufacturer brand, a fashion label, a cosmetics brand, a hair care brand, a personal care brand and an audio electronics brand.

Experts said that Khan was one of the biggest launches last year with star-like qualities and massive reach. “There is a serious paucity of ladies in Bollywood, which has vastly opened the market for Sara Ali Khan and maybe Jahnavi Kapoor too,” said Sandeep Goyal, chairman, Mogae Media and a brand expert.

Khan told ET that she thinks she is lucky to be associated with brands that she always wanted to be associated with. “These are the brands I personally use. I believe in being original and true to myself rather than trying to fit into set norms,” Khan said. With her debut, Khan has established herself as the fresh face of Bollywood and is a big influencer with her massive social media reach.

When asked if she has reservations on which categories or brands she would not like to be associated with, she said, “I am still very young in the industry and I am still figuring out this balance between my personal and professional life and opinions. I do think my prerogative and definitely my duty as an actor is to bring my personality to a brand and try to imbibe their ethos on to me.”

Any young girl will get a lot of brands because the Indian audience is very young. They are able to reach that demographic.

Ananya Panday just debuted a month ago and she already has 4 or 5 brands too.

But her fees won't be that much compared to top actresses. But good for her. I remember amrita had to do tv roles when saif left her

Awesome! 😁😁 She's the only young actress I like at the moment. She is both intelligent and pretty which is a rarity among young actresses today. Janhvi, Ananya etc. make me cringe every time they open their mouths.

No wonder she has a humongous fan following already, it's refreshing to see her like Vicky.

Even though she is a nepo product, I don't mind her getting successful. She has the looks, right attitude, can be funky-trendy and traditional at the same time. I even like to listen to her interviews unlike the current generation dumb ones.

Hope she remains the same.
