And you are giving too much credit to Aamir. Recent years have proven the FADING star power of the Khans. They don't rule the industry anymore. The audience is incredibly becoming story-conscious, so it doesn't matter to the majority if it's an Aamir or a Vicky headlining the movie if the story's solid.

TOH, Zero and Race 33 are really bad films not even God cud have saved them yet it is bcos of these three khans that they maanged to go even that collections. If it is anyone else they wudn't have made even 10 crore.

It will probably postpone, if the end product turns out to be good. Otherwise Kjo will release it anytime, not caring about competition from any big film, just like he released Kalank one week before Avengers Endgame, knowing that it'll Flop anyway.

December release date announcement is only to grab headlines. Even Krrish 4 is supposed to release during that time. But in the end, only Aamir will get the solo release.

Also Kjo said Takht will release on December 2020, not on Christmas. So it can release two weeks ahead or one week later if it indeed happens. But I even doubt that. Aamir is not SRK, one failure of TOH is not going to effect him. Clashing with him means clashing with content, and I'm sure Kjo is not capable of making a better film than Aamir's.

I am calm lol thanks 😂 but my point is only about Aamir not the other Khans 😅 Aamir is the one who has possibly the best script sense in the business (in recent times) according to many industry people. It is definitely only about content these days and that's why I'm saying that Lal Singh can be a tough competition for anyone.

I'm not saying Takht will flop but I'm saying that it's business will definitely get affected by Lal Singh. Why is KJo taking the risk? Takht is the biggest Dharma movie ever.

Also, Kjo has confirmed that shooting will begin by the end of 2019.

Exactly. I don't think a clash will happen eventually. KJo will talk it out with Aamir.

@bold Thank you! That was exactly my point! Clashing with Aamir is not the same as clashing with SRK and Salman. It means a clash with good content which I'm sure Kjo isn't capable of handling so why the hell is he even trying to do this? 😂😂

Trust me, he is going to come up with excuses like CGI, etc and shift the date. It's probably going to release in 2021.

All the 2020 festival dates are booked so Takht will release in 2021 only.The poster must be an old poster pre Laal Singh Chadda announcement. The new release date will be announced when they start shooting.

No it's definitely not an old poster. The old poster didn't have a release month just "2020" written on it and this one is in a frame hanging on the Dharma office wall. It's definitely new.
