I mean anytime Alia does something , everyone is like Karan got it for her and while it may be true in some instances but why on earth would Karan waste 150 Crore on aloo to prove a point? 😆 this forum gives him too much credit . I mean Thank God for small mercies but remember when Karan wanted to cast Bebo in KHNH , he was obsessed with her too . Social media wasn't a thing then so we didn't know but he has phases when he is obsessed with people. First it was Kajol, then Kareena and now Alia.

Pretty much this.

KJo's 'obsession' is not with Alia - as it was said he 'obsesses' over varied actors/actress in diff periods of time. His real 'obsession' is power and recognition.

AFAIK he even said something to the effect of: I want to be recognised as director and ..blah-de-blah..
