What does Karan Johar gain from this?

I mean anytime Alia does something , everyone is like Karan got it for her and while it may be true in some instances but why on earth would Karan waste 150 Crore on aloo to prove a point? 😆 this forum gives him too much credit . I mean Thank God for small mercies but remember when Karan wanted to cast Bebo in KHNH , he was obsessed with her too . Social media wasn't a thing then so we didn't know but he has phases when he is obsessed with people. First it was Kajol, then Kareena and now Alia.
