Usually gifs from Tenor, Gipghy etc don't post directly on IF. They sometimes don't even upload on Imgur.

My suggestion would be to find gifs from other sources and upload it on Imgur and then post. Because once you upload it on Imgur you will get the .jpg, .gif link which would work here. Some images online sometimes don't come with a .jpg or .gif at the end. This is from whatever I have experienced all this while when posting gifs.

But you need not upload the pics to imgur site now. Maybe the images stored on our devices need to be uploaded on the imgur site and then the link should be pasted in the text box given.

These developers are so clever...instead of giving a manual upload button they have used Google's default form widget. Waah...maan gaye.

Gif from some sites don't get posted here. Upload the gif on postimage.org or other simple sites then insert direct link here.

@Cotton: IF doesn't let you upload anything from your device.

So they were definitely testing for the past few days. I have never seeen any site testing it this way. Instead of paying a team to test , we were the QAs 😒
