Ah No there are far better performances. But then it all depends on who is the chairman for this year. But even then Ranveer has no influence on anyone to even lobby for it. So yeah he is not winning.

No, he wasnt. . Amitabh Bachhan won it for piku. I am not sure whether he was in the contender list. He deserved it back then and even more now.

Mamooty for Peranbu. The movie released worldwide this year but it was screened in many festivals during early 2018.

The whole cast performances were critically acclaimed . Especially the young girl and Mamotty.

ranveer is not going to win the national award, his performance as khilji was great, but he isn't going to win, thats just the reality

Those who say Ranveer's performance in both Padmavat and Simmba re OTT must read SLB and Rohit Shetty's interviews where u wud find tht their interpretation of the characters are OTT. They demanded that way, it is more obvious ins simmba. Rohit said how he made sure his hero is diff from original Temper hero making him OTT persona. Ranveer being the perfectionist made sure he do it completely.
