Who takes a break at the age of 30?

Anushka always talks about how she started working at an early age. What happened then?

Would she have taken a break if she weren't married? Would she have taken a break if she weren't married to someone like Virat?

Uska life , uska marzi . Maybe unko family start karni hai , maybe wo aaram karna chahti hai . Business toh side mein hoga hi toh aisa toh hai nahi ki berozgaar hai .

Of course it's her choice. But it's astounding to see her put away something that she worked hard for.

It's a competitive world, not only in the movies but everywhere. Career is not everything but it is also not something that should be put on the back burner.

I always get a bad feeling when women give up things for a man/marriage/children. It makes them more vulnerable.

Where has she taken a break ? I read she is producing shows for Netflix.

May be she is not getting good offers, so she is concentrating on production for digital medium. Break kaha liya ?

so dp can disappear for so long give padavat and disappear again but that's okay

anushka just had sui dhagga pari and zero released last year

she is allowed to take a break

she always said how balance in life is most important to her and from the beginning she never gelled with anyone from bollywood they are all too fake for her

irrespective of her getting along or not getting along she has been working non stop since rab ne she deserves to take a break

i am sure she will be back again

I don't think we know if its indeed a break or just lack of offers or if she is busy with her productions for Netflix. So right now it's not fair to judge her.. after all it's her life so it's her choice on what to do with it.

But having followed her for a while, she does not seem like a person who would take a break sorts .. so maybe it's lack of good offers or trying to concentrate on her production house.

She's always been highly selective.

She had just 15 releases in the first 9.5 years of her career. Of course last year she had 4, which still brings her average rate per year well below her contemporaries: Deepika/Kangana.

I don't think she's announced her next film as of yet, although her last release was in cinemas 10-12 weeks ago, so it's not like she's gone majorly MIA.

I believe she was the first major female star to get into production in the way that she did, and it has now become a trend with Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone foraying into that world. Katrina Kaif has also in the last year expressed her deep desire to follow suit.

This not only shows her interest in other departments away from the direct spotlight but also how unbothered she is about getting involved with the lengthy process of being a film producer which of course takes time away from film sets she could have been a part of.

Let's not forget Deepika has only 1 Bollywood release between 2015's Bajirao Mastani and 2020's Chhapaak. It's okay to be selective, it's empowering. But it also shows the murky side of being an actress. I highly doubt Ranbir or Ranveer will EVER face this predicament.

TBH, If I become rich by the age of 30 and don't have to work for the rest of my life, I will retire at 30 and travel the world. Besides, she had 4 releases last year with Zero being her worst performance ever. I think she needs to sit back and get her act together before trying to attempt and making a complete mockery of something like cerebral palsy.
