2018 he had October and SD. Not going to say those movies flopped but they did not light up the box office.

Kalank is his first big budget movie. Not sure if it's going to make the money most thought it would.

Where does this leave Varun now?

He cannot be compared with ranveer then. Which he was up till now. I like Varun and I hope his future movies do well but for now, ranveer is above his league.

Told ya when Dharma started dumping their actors and directors to YRF. You don't dump assets to your rivals.
