Aaj kal parents don't take responsibility for their children they dump it on the courts and government. Their children don't study but play on PUBG toh app ko ban kardo cus its not like u have any control over ur child anyways 😆

While I agree with lack of good parenting, any app which doesn't monitor content so much so that paedophiles roam around freely and pedophilic material can be spread so easily deserves the boot rightfully.

Take po*nsites: po*nhub is meticulous in this and most reputed po*nsites too. They have helped police to put people in jail too. So yes, while its parents responsibility to raise the child better its also the government's responsibility to ban vile stuff. Any company who cant adhere to a moral code of conduct and content monitoring needs to be banned. And even if we take the children getting cyber attacked out grown ass paedophiles having a network and sharing content is equally horrific. So a ban for this reason is not unreasonable at all.

Thats no excuse u and I both know that. Times change doesn't mean that parents have no responsibility. Even I have cried about a lot of things doesn't mean I got everything.
There was a time when FB and twitter and chat sites were dangerous, infact they are still dangerous . They weren't banned because people took responsibility over it and educated the children or controlled how they use internet. Children are vulnerable to everything, thats why parents have to be responsible.

Did the app refuse to take responsibility or regulate their content? I don't know about that.

There's another one like TikTok. It's called 'LIKE' or something. Will they ban that too?

Instead of requiring children under 13 get parental consent to comply with COPPA, TikTok is now directing users under 13 to a "younger ecosystem within the app. That version of TikTok limits much of the features found in the full app, namely through prohibiting the uploading if videos and commenting on posts. Minors will still be able to watch videos, albeit a selection that's curated for younger audiences

Tik tok took several actins under ftc when they had to pay fine.

Today u can't just stop them using phone and tiktok looked harmless where she used to post her dance videos
Yeah parents should look after kids but sometimes shit happens. Parents should be little careful but internet is common and accessible for everyone these days.
Yeah we r fb era kids but that days internet was slow and mummy ki flying chappal was enough 😆

Of course u can stop them. My niece doesn't need a phone. Once she was playing with my phone and my sister took it away and I m like what ? She is like she will get used to it and keep asking for it later. Though I find that too harsh too 😆

I don't say u can't give them the phone but then u have to own up to the responsibility too. There are several apps and plenty of them that will keep coming in the market in future. This will always be an issue. U have to keep an eye on them and keep educating them about stuffs so that they can protect themselves.

Nah internet wasn't slow. The trick was to buy the prepaid card so that we are careful of how and where we use it. I never had the guts to open youtube with that little data 😆

Never used it! But m not happy bcz many people were earning through it and more stupid is reason they gave.. fb, insta, many hub sites are way more dangerous but they generate good revenues so they did not get banned .
