Once i caught salman in bandra, he was making duplicate license as transport department banned him for attempting so many attempt at driving test. Luckily, i was passing by that area so i got to know about it.

Haven't met any 'big' star so far, but I've met and talked briefly with Sharman Joshi, Madhavan (while they were promoting 3 Idiots in my city) and Kavita Krishnamurthy (very random to have met her, lol) - all 3 were polite.

Sharman Joshi particularly seemed very humble and friendly, and Madhavan seemed nice enough even though he was talking to someone on his cell phone the entire time lol. I took a photo with them (pre-selfie days) which I still have. I saw Anupama Chopra at the restaurant in the hotel too (guess Madhavan and Sharman were joining her for dinner) but didn't go up to her for a photo etc, she wasn't really big back then. She seemed nice enough, no one was really bothering her.

Kavita Krishnamurthy was really friendly too, we chatted about my favourite songs of hers - when I said Khamoshi is one of my favourite albums of hers, she replied "oh Aaj Mein Upar?" and I replied, "no, ye dil sun raha hai" and she had this really surprised expression, oh like really? LOL) - she was super friendly with everyone else around too. Didn't take a photo with her.

My parents met AB Sr at Bombay airport in the late 80s (no entourage, he was picking up bags from the same baggage belt as them) and he was super polite despite it being 3/4AM in the morning or so. He asked my mother to click his left profile when clicking a photo with my father because "the photo will come out better, ma'am" 😆 but overall my parents walked away with a very favourable impression of Mr Bachchan. Politeness personified.

My dad also met Aishwarya Rai when she was shooting for a song in the US - she had just won Miss World - and he mentioned that though she was polite, she ran off to the car parked near the shooting location as soon as everyone clicking photos with her was done, and sat in the car rehearsing the song lyrics till the shot was ready. Pretty dedicated!😊

Met Shah thrice during KKR matches. Was in the tolly-telegraph section. Met Deepika twice. Airports. I got pictures with them both too ❤️ Other than that I have seen Amitabh,Anushka, Smriti Irani, Karan Singh Grover Milind Soman, Anurag Kashyap,Kalki and tons of television faces names I dont know. I fly 3-4 times in a week. Kolkata-Bombay-Chennai so celeb sightings are not uncommon for me. So many South celebs I've seen but could never remember names.

Saw salman/Kat at a traffic stop when visiting Mumbai many moons ago. They were chilling in their van with the curtains drawn and enjoying the attention. I was a kid sitting in the front of the car, and the driver said "Aamir Khan" and so I looked and it wasn't. Katrina was laughing and smiling at all of us freaking out. But then we were stuck in traffic for a long time and it got awkward. How much can one wave?

Oh, and we also went to Mehboob studios because we wanted to "see a shooting" and Bobby Deol was filming there. The person escorting us told Bobby "these are your fans from Lucknow" and he looked even more surprised than we were.

Met quite a few celebs:

Govinda: met at a wedding when i was a kid , talked sweetly with everyone, even clicked pics.

Srk: without make up he looks like a charsi buddha, bloated n red skinned. But was sweet with his fans

Sonam Kapoor: had her car broken & was shouting at driver in middle of the road, extremely arrogant, didnt talk or even smile at peasant Fans

Tiger Shroff: in a cafe at a central mumbai, was with Disha patani, probably had some argument, he had angry expressionS n she was almost in tears.

Salman Khan: at airport, was late for check in n was abusing security officer who told him to wait & asked him to pass through security machine

Sonakshi Sinha : at a restaurant was trying to hide her face even though nobody fcuk about her presence

Shahid :shoot of Dil.Maange More, he was fairly new so nobody was actually recognised gim

Lara Dutta & Bobby deol: some shoot @ Lonavla. Lara looked stunning n Bobby is tall like a tree. Were talking to eachother mostly.

Ritesh Deshmukh : nice fellow, no attitude, was all smiles for fans

Karan Johar: @ restaurant in sobo. Attention monger, quite animated. was desperately looking at people if anyone recognised him.

1. Met Boman Irani at Dubai airport last year, saw all desis there (airport staff and travellers) were taking selfies with him so I approached him too and asked for a selfie, he obliged at once. He was in a wheelchair (had a back operation in Dubai he told staff there) Since I wasnt getting the correct angle for selfie he took my phone and clicked 3 selfies with me. Boman is very nice, polished, gentleman-like, I was impressed by his behavior

2. Met Rakhee a long time ago at North American Bengali Conference, went up to her and asked for her autograph, she obliged with a smile

3. Saw Divya Bharti shooting for a South Indian song with Saroj Khan at Ooty Botanical Gardens in the early 90s, this was just 6 months before her tragic death

4. Met Aparna Sen at a chaat shop in Kolkata in the late 80s, she was with her 2nd husband Mukul Sharma and daughter Konkona (who was a little girl back then) ...I looked at her, she looked back at me, but I didnt ask her for autograph as she was with her family and I didnt want to disturb their family time

5. Saw Aparna Sen again, also director Rituparno Ghosh, Manna Dey, Sharmila Tagore, Soumitra Chatterjee from close quarters, and many other Bengali celebs, actors, singers at various NA Bengali Conferences throughout the last 2 decades

6. Saw Abir Chatterjee, Jishu Sengupta, Rituparna, and many other Bengali actors up close and personal at the premier of Rajkahini at 2016 NYC Bengali Conference ...I clicked their pics but didnt ask for selfies

7. Saw Moonmoon Sen and Aloknath (yuck) at Chennai airport in the 80s. Moonmoon was showing off like crazy, throwing her weight around, chatting and flirting with the airport male staff 😆

8. Met and talked to Usha Uthup at our local Durga Puja, she had come to perform there

Saw Nandana Sen and her American husband at the same community event 2 yrs ago

Have met Madhuri, Neelam, Chunky Pandey, Dharmendra, Sanjay Dutt and Shakti Kapoor

This was a long long time back , they had a shoot in the company my dad worked.

Madhuri was a nobody then and neelam was more popular.

Neelam looked gorgeous, Madhuri was cool , she asked about which school we went to

Chunky was decent, busy reading the dialogues

Dharmendra was old and heavy, he didn't even shoot, just moved his hands and his double did the rest.

Shakti kapoor looked more handsome than the main leads, Sanjay and Chunky

Sanjay Dutt was a pakka druggie then, my god, even now I get scared when I think about how he looked , he was playing with the chain that was part of the shoot, just plain scary.

Have seen Govinda in the airport, very very short

Have also seen Alec baldwin, Tina Fey , John Mc'nroe, Martina Navratilova

My wishlist ,

Federer, Dhoni, Madhavan, Simran, Rajnikanth, Johny Depp...lets see
