I am Telugu and I never heard of this news other than IF. It might be rumor. If it's true then he might have thought Alia is a better choice when it comes to North Indian market. He believes in himself than the actors (other than the main leads) . He thinks he can make it work who ever he decides to take for the roles. He did the same thing with Bahubali, in his mind only Prabhas and Rana are important, maybe for their cutouts . He considered Sridevi first for Sivagami but when she quoted high remuneration he replaced her with Ramya and made it work . Now we can not eve imagine anybody else in that role. if he thinks Keerthi is the only one for that role he would have let her go. He himself told if Tarak or Charan did not agree he would have selved this project the same way he thought about Prabhas for Bahubali.

Yes and he can actually act unlike Sallu. Prabhas and Mahesh babu both are like SRK.
