Kalank verdict box office??

I think everything currently looks bang average.
From songs to settings to trailers to acting to almost everything.
A rushed project to cash on the period cinema band wagon, but not given enough time to prepare the ground work for the creative team and the director. I personally don't feel like watching this in cinema, unless someone pays my ticket price, and that too depends on whether the movie gets good public reaction.

I think the movie at this stage with whatever promos we saw whether in form of posters or teaser/trailer, songs and snippets, this movie will be a disappointing box office performer. By disappointment I mean its collection will not be as oz expected because movies when they open at 3000 or more screens they are expected to earn at least 150 crores. And Kalank atm doesn't loo like one, unless it surprises

Plus with avengers coming next week after its release, it needs phenomenal trending or else it will not just be a disappointment but also a flop.

I am just waiting for Avengers Endgame..

I want it to work but looks difficult. Teaser/Trailer were decent but music has been underwhelming.

Not watching this in the theater

Not only did they made this movie to cash on the period cinema wave that is currently on I m pretty sure Karan even wrote this story post witnessing Gaddar's success run at the box office. And this also gives a picture of what Takht will be like.

Kalank doesn't look exceptional to watch it in the theatre.

Buzz is low for a dharma movie but Varun and Alia does have strong fandom so it might end up doing decent business. Aur kuch na sahi toh Karan will borrow papa Roshan's calculator.

It might get a decent start due to the stars involved but the music, also the story seems very underwhelming. So might not sustain!

Flop. Alia and Varun are not popular with the masses. Too outdated for metros. 😆
