I don't know from where have you collected this list but this is not really so accurate with the verdicts. Ishq Vishq, Haider, Kaminey, and Udta Punjab are not average or Semi-Hit. These mentioned films are the reasons why Shahid is so well-known name in Bollywood. These were sure shot hits.

This list did not include blockbuster Padmaavat either, although Shahid had a less screen presence, but it was equal to Deepika's I believe.

Directors are still keen on working with him coz of the quality he brings in his characters. Shahid is an excellent actor you can't deny on that. And even Aamir Khan, Salman Khan had many flops in their career but now surpassed that phase.

I hope Shahid will get wiser in his script choices. His upcoming movie Kabir Singh seems promising enough.

None of the movies you have mentioned are even close to sniffing HITS. They are all AVERAGE grossers, hence called a "success". Hell TM got the R. Rajkumar as a HIT, even that is an average grosser. You can check with BOI and you can also corroborate with Taran's verdicts. Wikipedia doesn't count as a source. I can go edit them right now. 😆 Only HITS and beyond Shahid has in his portfolio are Vivaah, JWM and Padmaavat. Pretty damn sad in almost 17 years of career, hence he comes off as so bitter about the stardom questions.

Shahid missed the train badly on the stardom platform. People need to stop blurring between acting and star power. Newbies half decade younger came and passed him long back. He's neither here nor there.

he is not bankable. his case is mystery , he keeps getting films ,who finances it ? he arranges it r wat lol. kuch toh gadab hai daya pata lagao lol
