Its called Meer foundation. Its in memory of his father and works in various ways to empower women and help them be independent. They work with not just acid attack victims but also other women who need help and upliftment to bring change in their lives.

SRK kept his branding separate from theirs and just quietly kept funding it. Now that he has time at hand he is actively involved in their activities so their deeds are coming out, else they have been working since long for women empowerment.

I heard about this foundation the first time when he got an award for it some time back, crystal award I think it was. Us se pehle I did not know anything about it.. Kinda commendable
