Aishwarya is a self made woman with no godfathers.

She was a topper at school and college. Top supermodel. Miss India. Miss World and later top actress and one of most known Indians in the world. She got global fame on her own and without exposing in foreign shows or relying on a White BF.

She was always well spoken and made a career despite a certain Khan sabotaging her career.

Amused people call her a Bachchan though she was a way established star already before she married Abhishek. She is still the biggest star in Bachchan family after Amitabh and will always be among legends.

At her prime, despite her candour, professionalism, looks and talent she got no godfathers like Johar or Chopra to promote her.

In contrast, Bhatt kiddo can neither match that self made global stature, nor give even one iconic role like Jodha Akbar, HDDCS, Devdas. And definitely never match those looks, fame, fandom and candour, eloquence.

So yeah the nepo kid did get everything on a platter at a young age despite being no match in looks, popularity, personality and candour.

Ash just stated the truth.

Shes a self made woman and has every right to diss Aloo, who is a special case of Nepotism, never have I seen any actor or actress get ALL her choicest roles handed over by one particular Producer like this.

Aishwarya is a self made women... she had everything in plate before she gets the Bachan's surname. I think its the last thing she would have need.
She was globally successful at Alia's age. Aloo baby need papa's finger to walk and talk!

What makes Aish's statement so savage is that she said it so neutrally and diplomatically. She wasn't actively dissing Alia, but basically said what the situation is didn't hide around the bush when it came to Alia's success😆

She basically said what we all are.

Dear Zindagi was originally offered to someone else and then KJo pulled strings so that Alia could have it. Even during Gully Boy there was a story of Alia not feeling included so she made KJo talk to Zoya about it.

Honestly, all the roles Alia has gotten she's done great, but those roles could have just as easily gone to Sonakshi, Deepika, Priyanka, Anushka and they ALL would have killed it. But she's been always, consistently served great parts and in great movies (minus Shandaar) and KJo's backing like no one else does. It's a fact, and Aish had the balls to say it.

Also, Aish was hella nice about it.
