I just saw Aligarh last night and was pretty moved. I'm surprised how the movie actually was pretty explicit in illustrating everything. It's quite commendable how Manoj Bajpayee took up this role and enacted it so well (not that the latter is surprising).
I thought the direction could have been slightly better because sometimes the scenes would change and it would happen without a proper transition. Other than that, I really liked the movie.Has anyone else seen it and their thoughts? Also, since this is based on a true story, does anyone recall how this story played out in real life at Aligarh University etc.? I presume it was mostly the same.
Feel free to discuss any movies you've recently watched. Link to previous thread !
