Vidyut Jamwal: It is very difficult to get into films if you are an outsider
Vidyut Jamwal is an outsider who has made his mark in the film industry with his unique skill set of martial arts.
The Junglee actor who made his debut as a villain with Force in 2011 has now made a transition as a lead actor who is known for his daredevil stunts. But the journey hasn't been easy.
Born to an army officer, Vidyut didn't have any godfather to launch him in Bollywood. The actor found it difficult initially to get a break and feels even today it is very difficult for an outsider to land good lead roles in films.
Talking to Dainik Bhaskar, Vidyut said, "It is very difficult to get into films if you are an outsider. I have been lucky. It's been 8 years that I have been here. I don't have a camp. I just have people who believe in me. Akshay Kumar never had a camps. Ajay Devgn never had a camp. They just had people who believed in them. I have such people in my life. Also I don't go to parties because I have to train. So that way I keep to myself.
Vidyut is also not scared of doing his own stunts despite having injured his head and legs where he bears scars of multiple stitches. When asked about it, Vidyut said, Fauji ka beta hoon. I am not scared.
