Because the Dhoom flicks dont boast of a good script and screenply...They are popcorn flicks,devoid of any script whatsoever...Aamir is someone who is meticulous about the script,and has mostly done script driven movies

And That he doesnt have the physique is another point....Aamir is short,and John and hrithik and Abhishek(in dhoom 1)have really risen the bar so high,that it would be impossible for Aamir to fit into their shoes,as he isnt hot or high on sex appeal

If SRk and Aamir are roped in,the movie would undoubtedly be a blockbuster courtsey their star power and the hype(needless to say YRF would definitely hype Dhoom 3),but whether they would do justice to the genre, whose emblem is the Dhoom flicks, is highly marred by uncertainty and scepticism!

Somewhere, srk and Amir do not have the correst physique or look to be in the dhoom series. But yes, yet again, it would be a blockbuster due to their star power and fan following.

well I dont see how they can manage to have so many big names in one movie and do justice to all of them! aamir I'm sure wont do the movie.

Yes,Vijay was the one who scripted Jassi,and after he quit,the show went to the bananas

But yes,Its hard to believe how one film can do justice to so many stars...I'm sure Aamir would be extra careful,he surely wouldnt want to be overshadowed,like how hrithik eclipsed and dwarfed everyone else in dhoom 2(and I would partly blame this on the script,as barring Aryan and Sunehri,no other character was well etched...Sunehri's role,albeit being well etched, was botched up by Ash's overacting and poor dialogue delivery,thus rendering Hrithik to be the standout, ofcourse,with all due respect for his effort that went into making Aryan look so magnificent and larger than life👏)

Besides,SRk and Aamir kinda contradict everything that Dhoom stood for...Both are old,and certainly not hot or sexy..

I think sallu n saif in d-2 would make sense...coz they both r sexy n sauve esp saif 😳 n saif can act as well!!!!

as for the danger of being overshadowed...well I blame tht on Abhishek.....he shd've been more responsile and taken care of his look---not only in terms of weight but why couldnt he shave????? Ppl have bashed abhi for d-2 more so coz of the way he looked not acted coz dhoom doesnt provide room for gr8 acting anywayz! And Abhi's bad stylin in dhoom was accentuated coz he was pitted against du!

Akki is a good choice as well.....he's the best at stunts and he loosk realyl good off late!

Whatever happens im sure Aamir wont do this film coz one he wont fit in the genre and anyway, dhoom movies dont havea script....and there's no way u can rope in aamir with a weak sscript!

But even then,I felt Abhishek didnt get a good author backed role..Dhoom 2 was Hrithik's showreel...Abhi wasnt directed well,and was made to sulk and brood all the time,with no heroine,no novelty to his character,no enough footage (on paper,55% of the movie belonged to Hrithik,and the remaining 45% had to be shared by Uday,Abhi,Bips and Ash...And most of the scenes of Abhi had Uday and Bips flirting/fighting,thus he not making an impact)....Hopefully,he doesnt reprise his role in D3

I rather prefer abhi-uday not be in dhoom 2, but on the other hand wouldnt Dhoom 3 loose its charm without both of them? Ofcourse if their roles are more worth while.

I highly doubt whether they would repeat Rimi Sen in Dhoom 3....They would want Dhoom 3 to be bigger and better than Dhoom 2,and for that,they need to sign on bigger stars....

Thus without Rimi,what would Jai Dixit do..He wouldnt have a heroine,and the antagonist would be romancing some hot chick(which I believe is Kareena in this case),and promiscuious Ali too would get some chick to run around trees with and to croon love duets...Abhi would again be sidelined!...Even if Rimi is brought in,the audience would rather concenterate on Akki-Kareena rather than Abhi-Rimi...In short,Jai Dixit is passe!..PEople felt Dhoom 2 would lose its charm without John,but hardly anyone missed John while watching Dhoom 2....Similarly,I dont feel ABhi would be missed,if he is replaced by Saif

But dont you think the characters Ali-Jai dixit are needed in this Dhoom franchise.

Look at Krrish, Rohit was there or morelike his son was more dominating, In munnabhai series, Munna bhai was i both (sanjay dutt) phir hera pheri, along with future project International Hera pheri, all 3 characters were and will be present.

Sunheri alone wont be able to leave much of a mark, many didnt like ash in that avtar, i doubt much of aryan will be showed. Basically dhoom wont be a dhoom without Ali-Jai dixit. But i do agree, with other's like saif, akki and KK, they surely will hog the limelight leaving jai and ali again plain losers😆

But Krrish had only one hero...It wasnt a multistarrer,so its a win win situation for Hrithik..Dhoom is a multistarrer with 3 leading men...KMG and Krrish were HRITHIK all the way..

Now if say SRK is thrown into Krrish 2,I'm sure that would depreciate Hrithik's importance,as some sections of the audience would watch SRK more carefully than Hrithik...

Hera Pheri movies have a script,dhoom movies dont..in Dhoom,there is a villain,In hera Pheri,there is no villain as such(with just these 3 protagonists conning poeple)...
