Deepika Padukone was rising high with 3 SLB films. In Ram Leela she was cast as replacement of Kareena at last moment. In Bajirao Mastani she was cast in a role Aishwarya and then Kareena were supposed to do but finally she did it. She was given a raw deal in the film and Priyanka was given most sympathetic character in it.

In Padmaavat again she was given raw deal even though she played titular role.

Now that SLB moved from Deepika to Alia, her bad phase has just started.

I only had hope in SLB and Farah to come to her rescue. Now that is also crushed. Her career is officially in its decline phase.

Alia is invincible at the moment. Kudos to her for her ambition and hard work. Focussing on films and not messy personal life drama is the only way to stay ahead and Alia seems to realise that. She keeps working her ass off and I appreciate her for it. Many nepo kids get opportunities but the lazy ones let it go to waste. Alia is not like that so she deserves to be where she is.

I still think Deepika ends up doing the Luv Ranjan movie. They pushed back the filming till January.

Signing 6 films is now enough to take on Deepika? I think it is for now.

Kjo announced RRR when Kalank trailer came out..and SLB film after the first song promo🤡.

Nothing should take away from the upcoming release.After announcing that kalank is an ode to Bhansali,Bhansali film signing is seen as a higher achievement.The director and distributors must be very upset.

Kjo clearly has no expectation from the film..The slb,& SSR announcement could have waited till after the release of the film.Ask a Varun fan,if it is right?Yes the film is not front loaded.opening day is not a holday..and it has only 9 day window before Avenger arrives.The film will most probably flop.

Kjo can't let Alia slip..Brahmastra and Takht are at stake.Alia is going to have to work very hard.

Deepika has had 1 release in 3 years..and she has signed 1 film.

I like to see everyone come at her...this happens often,till she makes her next move.

Just because Alia is doing well doesn't mean Deepika's career has to decline. I am sure enough producers will immediately sign Deepika if she was remotely interested.

Chaapak is a very unusual choice for her. She has made crazy money in the last few years, so maybe she now wants to do something that truly challenge her. Or maybe she wants kids. Who knows.

The Asian paints ad generated a lot of hype. They will probably work in some film

She should never have done Padmavaat. That crappy movie did nothing for her. She wasted a whole year on it too 🤢 They used her to sell it and Ranveer walked away with all he glory with his OTT performance.

She was wasted in Bajirao Mastani and Tamasha too. The last good role she had was Piku in 2015. I don't know how she managed to keep being the number one actress post 2015 but that's remarkable for her.

Maybe Chappak will turn out well for her.
