Manikarnika - The Queen Of Jhansi Final Business

Manikarnika - The Queen Of Jhansi has practically finished its run and has lasted around seven weeks at the box office to collect around 90.75 crore nett in its Hindi version.

The opening of the film could have been better as its first was less than 8 crore nett. the first day was in the same range as Luka Chuppi and considering the mounting of this film it should have opened better but it managed to hold pretty well post the first week as it added around 35 crore nett and showed good holds in week two and three before it got by the flow of big releases.

The film will have a worldwide total of around 132 crore which is also pretty good for a solo Kangana Ranuat film though is far less than Tanu Weds Manu Returns. the weekly business of Manikarnika - The Queen Of Jhansi is as follows.

Manikarnika becomes the second film to enter the Rs 100 club in 2019

Kangana Ranaut donned the director's hat for the first time for Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi where she also played the protagonist. The film steered clear out of a lot of controversies and was finally loved and accepted by the critics as well as the audience. Manikarnika is currently in its fourth week at the box-office and today, the film finally entered the prestigious Rs 100 crore club. Though the film started slow, it has managed to rake in over 100 crores at the box-office which is a victory. It is a huge achievement for Kangana as this is her first film as a director and she has also played the lead in it. During week one, the film earned Rs 61.51crore, followed by Rs 24.39 crore and Rs 11.64 crore during week two and three.

Manikarnika earned Rs 2.51 crore during its fourth weekend making the total Rs 100.05 crore. And thus it has become the second project of 2019 to enter the 100 crore club, the first one being Vicky Kaushal's Uri: The Surgical Strike. We congratulate team Manikarnika for crossing this milestone.

Gully Boy beats Uri and Manikarnika to record the HIGHEST opening weekend box office collection of 2019

Gully Boy released on February 14, Thursday and it has already registered several milestones. The Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer opened to an impressive Rs 19.40 crore on its first day. By the end of the first weekend, Gully Boy earned Rs 72.45 crore. With the impressive opening weekend collection, Gully Boy has registered the highest opening weekend box office collection of 2019. The Zoya Akhtar directorial has beaten Vicky Kaushal's Uri: The Surgical Attack and Kangana Ranaut's Manikarnika: Queen of Jhansi to nab the top spot. Uri recorded an opening weekend box office collection of Rs 35.73 crore in three days. However, Manikarnika beat the war drama with a collection of Rs 42.55 crore in its first weekend.

Gully Boy benefitted the most with the extended weekend. Given that the movie is for the youngsters, releasing it on Valentine's Day played a beneficial factor for the team. The movie also benefitted over the weekend. As per Taran Adarsh, Gully Boy's Day 1 to Day 4 collection looked like this:
